In answer to your question about how long to leave it on, I have read that about 30- 45 minutes is OK but not too much longer than that.

Depends on what it's made of.

A leather one you can leave on all the time, though you'd probably want to take it off for showering, and from any time to time to let your skin breathe.

Sometimes I have to re-adjust mine (leather), when it catches pubic hairs and begins to tug. (thin I shave first chance I get.)
 
Depends on what it is made of, but should only use for a couple of hours and build up time over time. Some people wear them all day, but not a real good idea as the circulation to such an area can be restricted and result in some unpleasant things happening, like inability to get an erection. Metal cock rings can put tension on nerves as well as blood vessels, so would use with moderation and a bit of caution. Also, don't get it too tight as it will add to the possible problems that can result.

That said I have a nice metal one and like to wear it from time to time. If it is the right size, you can wear a metal cockring for days without any problem. I have often worn mine for two or three days, it is a great feeling.

I thought I had read something about a half-hour to an hour at the most somewhere. I was surprised to read that some keep theirs on for so long.

ok so i finally bought a leather cock ring, its a little belt like one b/c i figured it would be relatively easy to put on. its nice, a bit of a hassale for the first time but now im getting used to putting it on. i have a thing for leather so havign aleather cock ring is great(in fact I am wearing it now!)
