im the same, maybe in a couple of months when the gym purchases the squat rack, ill do the 5x5. right now the gym have got the smith machines (evil thing, really -.-)
 
Even when I was training heavily I never did that many exercises or worked that many muscle groups in a day. I've always divided my workouts thus: biceps and shoulders; back and legs; chest and triceps. And I try to do some form of cardio every other day.

I've found that a 2-Split program works for me, thats why I have to do more muscle groups per day.:-) I didn't add my cardio in the program, as it's different every time.
 
Another good one is Max-OT... you can google it if you haven't heard of it... I did it with good results. And have you ever thought about throwing in plyometrics into your workout... seems like it might be right up your alley.

Otherwise... Mr. Code it's been a while... how are things? Training seems like it's going well... good to hear.

You've hit a plateau. You got a lot of results and now you've mentally adjusted to seeing your body in the mirror day and after day. So, you're not seeing the results because they will be more subtle.

Those of us who don't see you every day can see the results.

It just seems like every time i take new pictures and put them in the folder where i have the rest of the pictures from this thread, I always find pictures from last summer, or even before that I think looks better. Guess it's just me then.

Doing the A-program in a few hours.;)

I've also done some research on plyometrics, and I guess I should do some. There was quite a few exercises that looked like fun!

Oh, and I need to find a new job. The financial crisis has hit the construction business in full force. The company I work for has fired 38 of 52 employees:rolleyes:. I expected this to happen, but not as swiftly as it did.
 
just one thing code .. as karabulut said - there is a point where you are at the "plateau" where you should work to keep your level, and not continue growing it. you really don't want to look like one of those hardcore ************, because that's not about fitness any more. i'd prefer you just like you are now :)

Uh! So close!! Who is this new boy who ruined my fantasy? And it is not a totally empty box here.... a lot of it is, but not my apartment ;)

Anyway, I'm very happy for you and your new boy code.... a little jealous, but happy haha.

And the pics look great! There is a steady and amazing progress imo!!

If you're looking for another job, unfortunately LA is probably out as our unemployment is near 10%. I still have a job though and could probably afford a few meals for you along the way :D

I am looking for another job, but I think I gotta focus on getting through this one without any serious injury.
Today wasn't a very good day. Woke up at 6 AM, thermometer said -18C and I'm working outside (#1), then at about 9AM I accidentally cut myself with a utility knife(#2). Pretty deep cut in my thumb. Bandages and stuff for my thumb being done with I went back outside and worked for another 7 hours before having another accident. This time the angle grinder disc exploded, and a tiny fragment of it found its way up inside my goggles and into my left eye leaving a small cut in the cornea.(#3). Now I'm just sitting here waiting for something else to happen.
Guess I should try to be more cautious, but my thoughs are wandering way too much to really focus..

I'll get back to you with some workout stuff. I started doing some plyometrics, so I'll post the exercises here. Program A tomorrow...|
 
The pretty should not do construction. Too many chances to get injured.

Come sit in my office and shuffe papers.
 
How did you cut yourself with a knife?? Should you be using safety gloves on the job??
 
That sucks code that your day was so bad. Be careful! And I will say it is much warmer than that here in LA.... although today barely broke 60F. Especially be careful of those beautiful eyes.... I do intend to see them one day.... both of them! LOL. Hope tomorrow is a better day.

And this "jockboy" has been around for a long time... probably the boy part no longer applies sadly haha!

But if I may... and I'm trying incredibly hard to not to sound negative as this thread and your attitude has always amazed me for its positive vibe and "upbeatedness" let me just say that as a fellow person who is not vertically challenged, be careful of over expectation.

You have achieved an incredible amount, and your definition and toning is incredible. Your size and symmetry is spot on too.

But you are tall. And some of us tall guys will never ever look like Arnie. Its just a fact. We can be huge in reality - I have 17" arms and a 49" chest which on a guy of 6' would look great. On me, I look like a guy who is 6'6" and who needs to add another 15kg despite being 98kg.

Your limitations mate will always be out of your control. It will be your genetics that stop your growth not your lack of desire or intensity, dont ever forget that.

Dont beat yourself up as results slow and you extract every last drop of potential out of yourself. Your dedication and determination are awe inspiring and something to be incredibly proud of mate. You've shown a maturity and a desire to produce results that are an example to so many that I'm not sure you realize.

Your journey isnt over, nor is your growth. Size always comes when you train and eat and have the passion and the dedication you have. But gains will be harder and harder to make the more size you have, thats the harsh shitty reality.

Your body is testament to the incredible work that you've done. And your willingness to share and guide and teach is something that few others are capable of. It says an enormous amount about who you are.

Your results are already amazing Code. Please, dont let that simple truth get lost mate.

Safety gloves? I can't work with gloves;)

I feel better already. The positive vibe has been lacking for a few months now, but expect wonders as I thaw up;)
I think you're right on the genetics part, and my main goal will always be to release the full potential of my body, regardless of others.
