Codeerror's fitness thread (with pictures!)

Great thread.

This is exactly what I've been looking for as I'm trying to gain a bit more muscle definition. I'm 6'5" and only 153 lbs, I should be around 170-175lbs at my age.!oops!

I've started last night doing light exercises and moved up today to doing push ups, stomach crunches and leg lifts- my muscles were pretty sore after doing a 30 min workout and I must have guzzled down 4 glasses of water afterward.

Thanks for the detailed information about your workout regimen, diet and of course the pictures of the results.:D Now I have more motivation from this thread.

My skin's too sensitive for certain kinds of soap, so shaving just plain hates me sometimes.

Okay, this is not "before the weekend"!oops!

I need to learn to say no to people, or this isn't gonna turn out good at all. Construction work 13 hours a day is more than I can take in the long run. Lost some weight I didn't really need to lose.
I'm starting a new program next monday (29th). I'm trying out the 5x5 program we discussed earlier. The 5x5 is a 'powerbuilder' program. That just mean that it's a mix between a bodybuilder program and a powerlifting program.

There's many "5x5" programs around, but I'm going for this one:

10 Weeks!

Day 1: Back and biceps
- Deadlifts 5 x 5
- Chins 2 x 10
- Bent-over row 3 x 10
- Barcurls 5 x 10

Day 2: Chest and triceps
- Benchpress 5 x 5
- Wide Dips 2 x 10
- Incline flyes 2 x 10
- narrow benchpress 5 x 10

Day 3: Rest

Day 4: Legs
- Squats 5 x 5
- Leg press 2 x 10
- Bulgarian split squats 2 x 10
- Straight Leg Deadlifts 5 x 10
- Leg curls 2 x 10

Day 5: Shoulders and Calves
- Military press 5 x 5
- Dumbbell lateral raises 3 x 10
- Standing calf raise 3 x 10-15
- Seated Calf Raise 3 x 10-15

Day 6 & 7: Rest

Abs= Back and leg days.
