College Football 2009

ok, had to come back to stir up something. Texas will beat the Tide, we love being the underdog.

Yeah, that was one awesome game! The Longhorns were so lucky in the last few minutes!

Perhaps. But Colt McCoy is the calmest quarterback. As many times as he was knocked down Saturday, he remained cool and collected. He has "pro" down to an art. There is a month before the big game. We all know that a month can be a game changer. It should be one hell of a game in California.

I am disappointed in the Fiesta Bowl TCU vs Boise st? the Segregation bowl? i wanted both those teams to play teams from BCS conferences. blah.

One of them will be undefeated and if it was 20 yrs ago, share of the National championship. I hate the BCS. We need a play off!!!

there are only 2 people in the JUB Bowl Pool group. anyone else?

I'm still bummed about the Gators, too. People think I only pull for them because I hate Bama. While I DO hate Bama (entirely because of fans), UF has always been my second favorite football team and I was looking forward to another National Championship. Oh well, it is what it is.

I'm tempted to root for Bama to bring it home for the state and SEC, but I'm sure someone will be tacky and change my mind. We'll see.

So for now, Hook 'Em Horns!

I'm just hopin' we come out and play well and consistent against a Texas team that can score quicky when it wants to. The ultimate match-up is that between the Texas receivers (mostly Shipley) against the Tide's pass rush and blocking.

My prediction for the game is around 27-20 Alabama, in a nailbiter down to the end. Anyone else have a prediction?

Not a bad pick, I can easily see that if we were to be caught off guard. How do you think the Alabama defense will match-up against the 1 minute offense Texas brings?

Saban is very good at disguising blitz and such so Texas will be able to get away with it once, but I'm sure 'Bama adjusts.

I take the University of Texas by 7. I think it will be a back and forth game and a Texas come from behind victory.

Hook 'Em!

I feel kinda feel bad for Texas--their QB was out for the first half, so far. We'll see if he'll come back.

But, I must point out that OU was in the same situation with Bradford, so Texas is now knowing what it feels like. . .

McCoy is looking fine walking to the X-Ray room, without his jersey... YUM!

Yeah McCoy was fine looking. I was pulling for 'Bama but I hate it when another teams top player cant play or gets injured, it happens but it sucks.

Hello fratmen get Tx's Gilbert, McCoy, and Shipley a call dayum!!!
