College Football 2010

Hoping for USC is futile. They are on hard-time probation and Lane Kiffin is a loud mouth, self promoting ass. Coach Brown at Texas is a great guy, nearly as nice a guy and as good a coach as Darryl Royal. I think Bama is the team to watch. Saban has what it takes to teach the guys how to play top rate ball. I think you may see Alabama quarterback Greg McElroy really shine this year. He should not have a problem with confidence this year. Gosh, I want Tim Tebow to spend a night with me.

I've been waiting for someone to start a college thread for the upcoming year. I can't stand the off-season when its less conversation. But at any rate!

I think USC will have a difficult time to bounce back from not only the probations, but a huge coaching change in itself. They'll make it to a bowl no prob, but as far as winning the conference, that would be a surprise to me. But hey, never can tell.

I think we, (I say we because not only am I a huge fan but also a student), at Alabama will have an extremely tough time repeating. It hasn't been done in decades for a team to repeat, and with the difficult schedule ahead (teams like Penn State, Florida, Auburn), if we are able to have a chance for another championship will be nothing less than puuuure ecstacy. Do-able, but not 100% certain. Greg McElroy will hopefully pick up right where he left off.

My surprise team I'm excited to watch is actually Arkansas. They have an amazing quarterback to take notice of, who can do damage with the experience he has. Not to mention ain't too bad to look at.

We're down to around 7 weeks before the start of the season and I can't wait. It's my favorite time of the year. My dad graduated from Notre Dame and would load his 5 boys up in the station wagon and head to South Bend a few Saturdays in the fall. Those are some of my fondest memories. I'm an Arizona U Alum. I don't hold down much hope for either of my fav teams this year but you never know.

good!!, someone already started the college football thread, I can NOT wait for college football to start!

The Texas vs. Nebraska game this year is going to be dirty.. especially if they play again in the Championship game.

Does it bother anyone else that the Big Ten is going (as of now anyway) have twelve members and the Big 12 is going to have ten members? Because it's REALLY going to get on my nerves.

And all of the crap USC is getting is giving me a good laugh, especially since it's the first year Lane Kiffin's there, he's a grade A douche.

Who hasn't Lane Kiffin pissed off/?lol. USC won't be the same. Let's see if Oregon gets it together this year.

Nice to see Nebraska returning ( slowly) to what they were before.

Nebraska? I don't know. Some polls have them in the top ten. But, I wouldn't mind seeing some surprise teams make it to the top like Boise State. ..|

In most of the preseason polls I've seen Boise State has been in either the Top 5 or 10. Though that's gonna depend on how well they fare against Virginia Tech during week one. I personally think the Hokies are going to take that game.

I really hope Nebraska puts it to the Longhorns this year, I have a lot of family from Texas and I get so tired of hearing about it, lol.

I'm in ACC country, so this fall is gonna be interesting. Here's to hoping for a little less parity within the league and some more dominating teams.. Maybe the 'Canes, Hokies, or Noles will get it together.

Time of year again to see those hot college jocks bent over to see there jockstraps.

I'm hoping for a repeat of college football's #1 team to win the playoffs again. GO VILLANOVA WILDCATS!

The playoffs expand to 20 teams this year, and the championship game will be held at Pizza Hut Park in Frisco, TX. (I'm not sure whether that venue change is a good thing, really...although last year's championship was in Chattanooga.)

I can't be bothered with any division that doesn't use a playoff system.

Well I'm hoping App State wins their fourth Championship, but that's because I go to school there.

I still doubt there will ever be a game to match taking down Michigan in the Big House. Of course maybe if we happen to beat Florida this year in November, but I highly doubt that's going to happen.

Buddy! Sorry that you have to hear so much about the Longhorns. As a former UT undergraduate, I have to admit that I couldn't be happier about their sucess in recent years! Still, I hope that your Cornhuskers do well.

Anyone have any thoughts about Arkansas this year? Anyone know anything about their kicker - Alex Tejada. Did he leave? Graduate?

Did you see that UT and Notre Dame are starting up a home and home series in 2015? That should be really fun to watch. If the Fighting Irish start to pull it together that is. But I really think that now that they have Brian Kelley at the helm they can start to get back to their former glory.

And I though it was kind of bullshit that Boise State got ranked 5 in the preseason poll. I mean really? They were undefeated last year! I think they should have been at 3. But that's gonna be put to this test soon enough when they take on VT in week one.

less than a week !!!!! can't wait.

I agree with Brian Kelly at the helm I think Notre Dame will be back at the top soon. At least I hope so, I think Charlie Weis brought in some talent, he just couldn't coach them up. I'm hoping for 9-10 wins this year and a BCS Bowl game.

one more day !!!!!!
From what I've read the new big 10 will be

Division 1
Ohio State, Penn State, Wisconsin, Illinois, Purdue and Indiana.

division 2
Michigan, Nebraska, Iowa, Michigan State, Minnesota and Northwestern

Yeah, Dudes! Football season has begun!

1. The USC Trojans are off to a good start after defeating Hawaii. Good boys!
Love my Trojans- they protect my dick when I'm fucking and they score touchdowns while I'm watching! hehe.

2.. What do you-all think of Arizona's quarterback Folles- seems to have a lot of potential.

3. What games will you be watching this Labor Day weekend?

1) That was a fun game to watch and kept me up late ( i am out east). Your offense looked good but it is unusual for USC to be giving a lot of pts and you gave up 36 to Hawaii? They better make some adjustments, Oregon, Oregon St , Arizona etc can score plenty and also have to deal with Stanford and UW's QB's. good luck

2) As an ASU fan I will pass this question lol.

3) Uconn vs Michigan, purdue vs ND, lsu vs unc ( unc has 12 players suspended so lsu may put the game away early) and of course asu vs the mightly portland state lol. and to finish off the night, wisconsin vs nevada ( its on Versus).

Thinking of going to the Maryland vs Navy game on Monday. not sure yet.

man, i love college football.

There are a few teams that look scary good, namely Bama, Oregon, Oklahoma...a couple that not many people are talking about yet have some amazing Freshmen, South Carolina (RB) and Michigan (QB). Hard to tell with Ohio State and Boise as the ACC is laying a real egg against any very good teams (I'm a fan of lowly NCSU, we are 2-0 at least so I'm holding interest). Also it seems like more BCS level teams are losing to I-AA teams this year...
