And Appalachian State is ranked No. 1 in the coaches poll. We're also 4-0 and if I remember correctly Nova is 3-1.

Wonder if Nova will decide to join the Big East. It's a prime opportunity to move up if they decide to, seeing as they have an offer from an AQ Conference.

I can't believe that the UT Lonhorns have fallen out of the rankings! OUCH! :( I'm glad for Boise State, but they should be given more credit.:=D: And, good luck to the Nebraska Cornhuskers! ..|

Boise State got jumped by Oregon in the polls this week. Though, after that game against Stanford, I can understand why. Boise destroying NMSU is just not as signature as pounding the No. 9 Cardinal was.

After Villanova's loss saturday ASU is No.1 in all the FCS polls. Just saying.

And Alabama goes down.

Think Ohio State can get through the rest of the season without a loss? It's really too bad that they and Michigan State aren't playing this year, that would have been a hell of a game.

And if Oregon keeps playing like they are, I think they're going to be hard to take down. Especially with Stanford out of the way.

Sorry, ASU bro! This year the Longhorns were all over the Cornhuskers. But, I admit it was a surprise. Martinez did a great job as quarterback, unfortunately the Nebraska receivers were just unprepared a couple of times.

Ah, it's ok. They already lost to UCLA and Oklahoma so my cousins are keeping their mouths shut. It was a good game though, I was surprised at how well the Longhorns played and how poorly Nebraska did.

And now Oregon is the new No. 1. Can they stay there more than a week like Ohio State did? I'm thinking they can handle UCLA at home. But then again the Bruins are a different team every week. If it's the team that Stanford and Cal destroyed the Ducks should roll. But what about that team that took down Texas and Houston? Maybe UCLA is just good against the state of TX this year...

And Appalachian State is still undefeated, 1st in the nation in the FCS, and increased to 24 consecutive conference wins over the past two and a half years.

USC can't be part of the BCS rankings because of the NCAA sanctions they have. Same with the coaches poll. But they are in the AP poll.

I think Oregon should be 1st and MSU should be higher. I'm not really surprised Texas isn't in there though. And how is Ohio State above Wisconsin, whom they lost to two days ago..?

War Damn Eagle! So stoked to see my boys doin work! I'm trying to beat the lottery system so that I get selected for an SEC championship ticket. Wish me luck.

In the GOOD college football division (the one with real playoffs!), Villanova is in trouble. They've lost 4 this season and play #1-ranked Delaware this weekend. So their season is very much in their own hands.

Granted, Delaware is in my area too, I can't hate them.

Well, the playoffs are set and I'm not complaining. In the past it seemed playoff teams always ended up playing the same old opponents. Eastern teams always got the same Eastern teams and Montana State got a clear path to the finals.

Not this year. Villanova gets Stephen F. Austin to start. And Delaware will play the Northern Iowa/Lehigh winner.

Nova beat Delaware, but they'll have a real tough matchup this first round of the playoffs when they play Stephen F. Austin... Axe em Jacks!!

Too bad Villanova is going to get knocked out during the second round, if they can past Stephen F. Austin that is, by Appalachian State, the No. 1 seed in the tourney.

But I agree with what you said about the set up this year, we've played South Carolina State in the first round for the last two years, this year we'll get either Coastal Carolina or Western Illinois.

I look forward to welcoming the wildcats to Kidd Brewer Stadium and I'll be in the crowd at the Rock watching my Mountaineers roll.

Not too fast about Auburn. There is too most controversy, and if they do find evidence that Cam Newton lied to the NCAA like Ohio State's coach did, Auburn could lose the title like USC did with Bush's scandal. We see USC on suspenshion, we could see others under the hoit seat like Auburn, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, tennessee, LSU, Ohio State, Boise State, Oregon and some others. If they do find these schools violated the rules, all the wins will be taken away. Last year's football champ could wind up to TCU, and two years ago, Alabama could lose theirs to Utah and so forth. NCAA should not play favortism, and go ahead and put these schools on probation, take away their wins and titles, and banned from post season for some years. These football schools and student athletes are running rampant and breaking the rules. That is not fair for others who play by the rules.
