Colllege Football #1?

Texas is definantly going to be in the cross hairs....Next weeks game against Missouri should be interesting, eh?

I may not have watched the LSU vs Florida game, but I could hear quite a bit from outside my dorm. Stupid papers and exams keeping me busy all of the time...

Penn St vs Texas sounds like a great game. But with the upcoming schedule for Texas looking really tough, I doubt if it would be for the Natl Championship. Penn St...maybe, Texas...probably not, but I would love to see that game!

My God, Colty McCoy is smokin' hot, and a pretty good QB, too. Still, I would put Bama #1.

What conference does Penn St play in? Oh, yeah, the Big 10! Enough said...move them back, not up...who wants to see another Big 10 team play in a national championship? I'd rather see Florida or USC or Oklahoma with multiple losses before a Big 10 team with a perfect record.

More importantly, those Georgia Dawgs run it up on the defending national champs in Baton Rouge. That sets the table this week as UGa takes on the previous defending champion Florida Gators at the World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party.

You see, Texas, if you want to run with the big dogs, you've got to play with the big dogs and Okie State is not to be confused with LSU and Florida.

Hey, the Dawgs don't need reminders to beware those Gators. While we lead the overall series by 9 games, in the last 18 years, we're a puney 3-15:cry: against the stinkin' reptiles.

Georgia plays Okie State in Stillwater next season, too.

Texas wouldn't likely be undefeated right now if they played in the SEC...that's all I'm saying.

Hmm...well UAJock, I'm not going to say anything. Texas played their fuckin heart's out and you can't lie, overall it was a great game. I was pulling for yall to win the most. I desperately wanted to play the Longhorns in the championship game, and given the crazyness that college football provides, it may be possible, who knows.

Having that being said, ROLL TIDE ROLL!

It definantely was something that makes a game a classic that will be remembered for a long time coming. I was amazed by the whole thing, it never seemed to get to a point where there was a dull moment.

Hey, Sammie and other Football fans-
Come on guys. USC is the number one team this year! Just look at how they pulverized Ohio State on Saturday. I like Sam Bradford and Tim Tebow, but who could argue that Mark Sanchez isn't the best quarterback around, besides he is a damn goodlooking stud!

I love USC and Mark Sanchez !! I loved how they have pulverized Washington and Washington State. I also like the fact that Mark's knee has held up pretty well the last few games. I would love to see him in the running for the Heisman. Ifhe does not get it I would like to see Colt McCoy get it.

True washington and washington state have the worst records in the pac 10 .. USC held three teams in the PAC 10 scoreless including Arizona ST. Not to mention USC ranks 1# in scoring defense , ranks 1 # in total defense , ranks 1 # in pass defense , ranks 1 # in pass efficency defense , and ranks 1 # in kickoff returns . I might be jumping the gun before they spank UCLA this saturday , but its too bad they have to play a nationally 8 # Penn state , when they should be facing a higher ranked team such as Texas or Florida.

The stats not only reflect the Pac 10 , but USC dominated a 5 TH ranked Ohio State 35-3 23rd ranked Oregon and 21st ranked Cal 21-3. HistoricallY overall USC is 4-1 against Texas , 3-0 against Texas Tech , and 6-2 against OU. ... Not to take anything away from Texas this year they faced some touch teams back to back , I am not disputing that.

With everyone saying screw the BCS, the BCS has gotten way more action than ANYONE in the State of Texas..

There's only one #1, and it's OU. Boomer Sooner!

BOOMER!!!

As much as I hate the BCS, the two best teams are playing on Jan 8.
