Come admit it, were you a fan of the Spice Girls?

WOO HOO I LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i just recently got their Live in Wembley..........fucking love that concert!!!!!!!!!! and i have the one from Instanbul on tape somewhere

OMG YES! The Istanbul one was my childhood. I watched that soooo many times.

The word is that all five will perform together for the first time at the Diana concert later this year!

I still have the Spiceworld movie!oops!

was so crazy about them during their first 2 albums but not the their cos don't like their style anymore

Yes, of course. I think everyone was, some just don't have the balls to admit it...

Mel C, music wise and vocal wise carried the group. Her voice is so soft and gentle, yet has power.

I have no clue who or what the other 4 are doing, but I do follow Mel C's amazing solo carrer... her 3 albums have some of the most amazing work on them (as far as pop goes)... Now that she's got her own record lable and management company, there's nothing holding her back... Hopefully the world will be re-united with Mel C, as a solo artist, but I've been praying for that sonce 1999... hasn't really came true although she's around the 5 million range in album sales with her solo stuff!

The one that sang backup for Bryan Adams on "When You're Gone" sounds like a singing Muppet. I'm thinking Kermit's nephew Robin, but maybe it was another one.

Of course I was. It was illegal to be young and not like the Spice Girls...at least in England anyway. My friends and I would constantly sing their songs and pick which one we would date when we got older. Mind you, this was when I was 7.

I was not, could not, and never will be a fan of the spice girls collectively or any spice girl alone.....

My ex boyfriend was infatuated to the point of fanatical and insane with the spice girls, particularly Geri Halliwell. He ordered tons of memorabillia off Ebay, and bought tons of stuff. He had a spice girls shrine in one room of our house.

I HATE the spice girls......their demise as a group has made me feel alive and refreshed.

Cheers to none of them getting any airtime these days, with the exception of Victoria Beckham whom I am sure will be flaunting her skinny little body all about Hollywood soon since her hubby has defected to the states to make soccer more popular in North America. Oh and the 250 million dollars too..........

Cheers!

i loved the spice girls and still follow their solo careers. i love emma"s cover of downtown. and lets be honest here....geri is a diva! my question is do any of you guys recall the song mel b did with missy for the "why do fools fall in love" soundtrack?? i loved the song but cant recall the title to find it. any help?

I loved the spice girls during thier riegn , of course i was like 8 or 9 when they first came along , Victoria was my favourite i thought she was so hot back then , cant stand her now though , i still know the words to most spice girls songs , my favs were "move over " " Love thing" and "wannabee"

:=D: PHOENIX!! you rule. that was it. i could not find it anywhere. thank you for the post.

No shame in admitting i was a HUGE spicegirls fan.

Scary was my favorite, i liked her spunk, but i liked all of them, you know girl power and by default gay power lol.

I nearly missed out on them. A friend was visiting from England and one day she asked me who is my favorite Spicegirl, ofcourse i didnt have a clue what she was talking about. Then she took out a poster and i just said i like all of them. After she played the CD and i got hooked in line and sinker.

I went out and got EVERYTRHING spicegirls, posters, candy (there was this spicegirl lolipop), clothing, all the merchandise you could think of. My room for a while was plastered with all things Spice. And i would blast thier CDs night and day and didnt care if anyone was questionning my sexuality. They did no wrong musically.

I tried to get my friends to come and watch "Spiceworld" with me but they said no but i didnt care i went by myself and i was one of the only boys in the theater. It was mostly girls but i met my future ex boyfriend in the theatre our bond stemmed from mutal affection of the spicegirls but thats another story.

It would appear that the Spicegirls music lives on because i cant remember what they are advertising, something about rewards, its with this jogging woman running alongside a car and the car is blasting a spicegirl song. Its a current ad so if you watch TV im sure you will see it and hear it especially if you were a spice fan. It was so refreshing to hear their music as its been so long. I couldnt tell you were all my spicegirl CDs are right now, because its been a while now since they split.

I remember when they came on Oprah and sang "Spice Up Yah Life" i was going crazy infront of that TV screen lol.

Spicegirls ruled. I think the Spicegirls came out a few years before Britney.

My pop musical evolution:

Ace of Base --> Spicegirls --> Britney

OF COURSE I AM A FAN OF THE SPICE GIRLS

MY YAHOO Id IS NAMED AFTER THEM
ALL MY NICKMAES ALSO

I was a fan, yes.
Had the singles & albums.. I was only 9 going on 10 - So easily influenced :p

Was I? No, I was and AM a Spice Girls fan. Loved em and still do. I used to have a crush on Victoria Adams/Beckham. You gotta admit, for a chick she's got fucking style, but nowadays, she needs to eat a fucking burger.
