So here is the situation, I was hanging out with one of my close friends just talking and stuff. I needed to take a picture of my hair cause it was doing something weird and I wanted to see it. The thing is I had a telling picture of the fact that I am gay and if you know how the iPhone 4 camera works then you know there is a little window that shows the previous picture. Well he was trying to flip which camera was being used and clicked on the little window #-o . He freaks out and says "oh god, is there a reason behind this..." and I just had to laugh and say there is a long story that I will tell him later. So know I guess I have to come out to him. I had planned to but not yet, and now I'm really nervous. I mean I really am worried about what's going to happen, he has told me he doesn't mind homosexuals but other times he has mad jokes that were pretty anti-gay. I guess I need some general advice about what I should say, thanks :).

Well, first off no offense but I'm going to say that this is far from an EMERGENCY lol.
 
Well I imagine he already kinda knows. If ya don't mind me asking, what was the pic of? Since he must have some idea and he's still talking to you, he will probably be ok with it.
 
The picture was from flickr, it was a picture that Louis Kwong Jr. took that I thought was really cute of two burly men checking each other out. XD know that I'm thinking about it it was kind of a funny situation and it's kinda made this probably easier to do.
 
Hi,first thing to do is calm down.He is your friend and has told you he is ok with homosexuality,a few gay jokes that are not aimed at anyone in paticular DO NOT make him homophobic.

This certainly sounds like your ideal time to come out to him,lets face it,you have some explaining to do so you might as well be honest and tell him.If you dont want him labeling you just yet you could tell him you are getting mixed feelings and know you are not totaly straight and will keep him updated.

Just staying calm and confident,to the point and honest seems to get accepted better than hiding and lying.Most people understand that coming out takes guts and dont question your timing and will keep quiet if you ask them to.
 
Oh hell then, you can just say it was a joke or something. You could make up plenty of stories if you thought of it:)

Thanks so much, yeah I have calmed down but it's still keeping me on edge. I thought first maybe I should just lie, but there really is no other reason I would have that picture xD so I'm just going to have to do it. It's going to be a long talk but I think I'm ready for it. :D
 
this is why i dont let my friends play with my phone lol. not that they don't know im gay, but because there's pics on it that they REALLY wouldn't want to see lol.

you never know, this accident could turn out to be a really happy and positive thing. i hope it goes well.
