Coming out to my parents

That's really great that you are feeling great about yourself. I wish you the best of luck ;)

I'm about ready to come out to my mother. I've come out to my friends and my big sister. Ever since, I've really grown into my skin. I went gay clubbing with my friends and attempted to gay pride with friends. I love being out. I never thought I would want to come out to my mom, but I do. I'm just waiting for the right time. Maybe I'll take a page from your book and write what I have to say in a letter. Then again...I dread the whole 'I need to tell you something.' Oh well. I told myself I could not go into my 20s in the closet to my mom (no offense to anyone, I understand the path is different for everyone), and I don't plan on it!
