Common Misconception Gay Men seem to have with women?

Hello.

I've noticed after reading these boards a bit that a lot of gay men seem to think that women aren't as "horny" as men, I guess. I don't want to generalise as all of them might not think this, but it seems like a lot of men prefer men because they are sexually active and wanting it a lot more than women. I know from personal experience this really isn't true. A LOT of women are extremely horny and wanting to be sexually active, just because you can't usually physically see this (like how men are hard), but women are definitely interested in sexual activies as much as men.

I don't really know the real reason for posting this, but maybe to all those guys out there that are nervous about getting with women, thinking that maybe they don't want it as much, this is definitely not the case. Go out there and have fun! Give women (and men if you swing that way) what they want

One thing i've never understood about straight guys: They're men, and they're horny, right? They can only get sex from women. They pressure women into being horny and having sex the way they want. . .yet most of the time when a woman does this, they SHAME her, bully her and make her not want to have sex with them.

I really don't think that's true about gay men thinking women aren't horny. Women tell us the most intimate details of their sex lives all the time. It's one of the main reasons they love being fag hags. They get to talk to a man about sex without feeling like they're being whores because we fully support their sexuality.

My experience from many years of fraternizing with straight men is that they don't treat women with respect but largely treat them as sex objects and "toys". They call them "bitches" and "ho's" and generally look down on them.

I think that goes for all men. Some guys on this board look for meaningful relationships in other guys, while some just go for the "juicy black cock." For me, it depends on whether I respect the person or not in the first place for me to speak vulgarly about them. (But I'm vulgar with love ).

For example, if I'm attracted to someone I know, I'd be more respectful with my attitude. But if I go to a club and see some hot piece of meat griding in a cage, there's only one direction where my thoughts go.

You seem to be pointing out that straight men are more like this, yet on this board I see a bunch of gay men talking completely inappropriately about attractive men.

I know a lot of people that would call a man that sleeps around a man-whore, the same way we could call a woman that. Nothing against women, we keep it even.

Also, it could have been a possiblity that a lot of men were drunk at that bar? Everyone says inappropriate stuff when they're drunk, EVERYONE. You brain does not function properly. I've heard plenty of women talk crap about straight men when they're drunk. They might not call them "sluts" or whatever we apparently call women, but they most definitely call them a lot of other things (loser, douchebag, etc)

I love my wife deeply, and no I'm not perfect, but I respect and cherish her. Always have. I have a lot of friends, most of them men, most of them straight. I can count on less then one half of one hand how many of my friends treat women like you state above.

I think there are a lot of misconceptions about both women and straight men on this board, from even the little bit I've seen.

There are a lot of asshole men period. Doesn't seem to matter, straight, gay, bi, whatever, a piece of shit is gonna be a piece of shit no matter who he likes to fuck. I mean look around this board, men are objectified and sexualized to an extreme here.
