This has to be unprecedented.

Trump may have to sponsor the GOP convention himself with his Steaks and Wine...maybe he can get some of the third tier companies selling adult diapers or duct cleaning who sponsor the bobble heads on FOX non-prime time programming on FOX to step up.

The list is amazing, including Apple...who have decided to not throw millions at Trump's campaign to divide America:

MetLife Inc.

Walgreens

Hewlett Packard Inc.

JPMorgan Chase & Co.

UPS

Motorola

Wells Fargo & Co.

Ford Motor Co.

Coca-Cola

Microsoft

Apple

It is hilarious to hear the right wingers talk on FOX about how Republican voters should be boycotting these companies and selling their shares because of their refusal to support the Drumpf campaign.

I can't think of a time when blue chip American corporations have done this.

All I can say is the trump situation seems very bad---but he's only losing by 7 points in spite of having no money, losing corporate support as you point out and saying the most crazy things of any presidential candidate ever----and coming across as a lunatic.

It's early. Many Americans don't pay much attention to the elections until after Labor Day.

This is about the GOP brand and the damage that Trump has done to it in the run-up to the convention. Losing all the corporate sponsorship and support for the convention is either going to result in a very low-key convention run on a shoe string...or it is going to be run on a deficit with the party hoping to make up the shortfall between July and November.

They have to start raising money and spending it in the key states pretty fucking soon or they are in big trouble.

Remember as well...the GOP convention and the fund raising isn't only about Trump. The Republicans have lots of races to run and the convention is the moment when they can generate buzz and excitement and raise money locally based on the buzz around their candidate. This year, that ain't happening.

Right---I just can't image the country's take on the debates. He really knows nothing about the world and she knows too much so it should be a real clusterfuck.
And yes he's ruining the repub "brand" and he's ruining his brand---I agree with the repubs who say it has to go all the way down before it can be rebuilt and go up again.

I saw something early things morning, but I didn't have the time to check it out then. I'll have to see if I can go back and find it.

The article suggested that there was money flowing, but that it wasn't doing in exactly the direction one would expect. It was going from the campaign back to his businesses.

Here's the article:

Donald Trump’s Campaign Paid Trump Companies More Than $1 Million In May
The campaign funded Trump’s use of his jets and his Florida mansion, Mar-A-Lago.

He desperately needs the money. From that article:

Trump’s campaign reported $1.3 million in cash at the start of the hugely expensive general election phase of the race. In 2012, the campaigns and super PACs of President Barack Obama and Republican nominee Mitt Romney each raised and spent more than $1 billion.

According to HuffPost’s Paul Blumenthal, Trump’s current financial situation “places him further behind [presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton] in terms of funds and campaign infrastructure than any other modern presidential candidate.”

Nothing is going to stop Trump supporters from supporting him, because he's the only candidate, for a bunch of them in their entire lives, who's told them it's OK to be racist, misogynistic fucks.

And he will have an "R" after his name.

'Nuff said.

If the companies don't support him financially,
he would be bankrupted ....

I don't understand why rich people like Drumpf want to be a president.
Most rich people DON'T.

I was also very surprised to see the emergency fund-raising a few days ago, where they tried to raise a ridiculously petty $100,000 in 24 hours. (Did his campaign succeed?)

THAT IS **ONE TEN-THOUSANDTH** of the billion dollars (or more) needed for a Presidential race.

if Drumpf is really as rich as he claims that he is, he could get that $100,000 by dipping into his Petty Cash fund.
