I am about to give up getting fucked. I met this really sexy fb and we take turns with anal. Last time he was fucking me for a long time, when he came and he pulled out the condom was in shreds. I was/am in shock and unwilling to put myself at risk. It was a generic Durex condom, would the extra strong ones be better? Can a guy fuck you too long, so that it's best to interrupt (yipes) and put on a new one. What are your recommendations?

well if i was to think this through logically i would say friction causes warmth and that could lead to mocrofractures and tearin in the latex - so the simplest solution would be LUBE. Was the lube u were using condom compatable ? Most lube need a bit of reapllication is ur more the marathon type than the 100m sprinter :P. The other thing i have found is that CHOISE of condom is important everyone has one or two types or modles(as it were) within a brand tha works WELL. Thats all i can think about

Using extra strong condoms is recommended for anal sex.

Yup. More lube, and extra strong, heavy duty condoms always do the trick.

Make absolutely sure that the lube is fully compatible with the condoms, you are using and, learn how to make a break ever so often and check on the state of the condom to make sure, you are doing all right.

Once you regain your confidence, all will be good again.

Edfu:

Condoms do fail. It is a risk that comes with anal sex and it is the best way to minimize your risk of contracting STDs.

There was an earlier thread that discussed condom use:

General guidelines-
1. Avoid the "sensitive" or "superthin" condoms. They are more likely to break during anal sex.
2. If you are allergic to latex, use a polyurethane condom.
3. Different condom brands come in different thicknesses, shapes and widths. If you are a guy who comes quick or if you like rougher sex, try an extra strength style. If you have a larger head on your penis or you have a wider shaft, there are brands that offer a magnum or extra headroom style condom.
4. Condoms should be snug but not constricting. If you find that the condom is not comfortable, try putting a little lube on the head (not shaft) of your penis. This will help get the condom on and it will also help add a little extra friction to the head of your penis during sex. Several internet sites offer condom and lube sampler packs- get a few and road test them.
5. Always use lubes that are labeled condom safe. These will be water based lubes or silicone based lubes. Never use oil based lubes with condoms (this includes household lubes like butter, Crisco, etc that contain oils).

so one other thing occured to me
did u check the expiry date on the condom???

That was my guess right there! A condom being ripped to shreds would tell me it was beyond its expiration date. Condoms are very durable; have you seen someone stretch an entire condom (not even a magnum) over their entire HEAD (the one on your neck?!?!) Well, I have.... Unless lube was not used at all, the condom was spoiled!

I agree with the expiration date issue, or possibly where the condom was being stored... were you keeping it in a walet or anything? (if so this is a BAD idea) condoms shouldn't be kept in wallets as they will degrade rather rapidly.

Another general rule. When you bottom, YOU supply the condom.

Words to live by.

There's two answer to why the condom broke.

1. He put it on the wrong way, inside out. I had it happened to me before. Stupid me, I put it on and after some hard thrust, it broke on me.

2. Lube is not compatible. Some lube and stuff like vaseline, lotions etc will eat the latex.

If you notice the break, put on a new one. Risking it is killing yourself. Tell him that too. Trust me, if a condom breaks..the top will definately know, because it breaks right at the tip where your most sensitive head of the penis is located.
