I was just gifted a gym membership. I'm going tomorrow after work, which will be my first time working out in a gym without someone to coach me. I'm not planning to do anything complicated, but it still makes me nervous.

I have some sessions booked with a personal trainer, but they don't start until next week. I'm also a little nervous about those.
 
I got called too skinny by a guy yesterday and was taken back by it [6'4" 168lbs]. Normally I wouldn't let something like that affect me but I felt it was uncalled for. It's not like I am actively dieting/starving myself.

Don't worry about how others think, you know better. There will always be people who think one is too thin, too thick...
 
I have the impression that, in America, a skinny guy must have it worse that a fat chick: a fat girl or woman may always pass for a "zaftig" object to grope, but a skinny guy seems to fail against the fundamental macho man premise and powerful looks.
 
I am skinny, always have been. The advantage is that you look good in classic clothes, suits hang well and sweaters are perfect.

Just avoid shorts and short sleeved shirts.

A couple of weeks ago, I dreamed that I discovered some sort of wart on my skin around the place where the appendix is supposed to be located, and as I kept looking and handling it, it seem to get bigger, and it even started to look like a penis, and then it started to get hard as I kept pulling it and something like a foreskin seemed to retract...

I'm a former fat kid so it does mean something to be called "too skinny". I am just glad I have my height to tower over all the short yippie people.
 
I just developed one big knot in my throat, and teared a little, at the final scene of Mubai and Xiulian, and the fate of Jiaolong... and it felt so damn good..!

I wonder what was I thinking the first time I watched that... maybe it's my automatic reaction while in company of being totally unable to "get in touch with my feelings" :cool: :rolleyes: :mrgreen:
