Confess something that might surprise others or damage your reputation on JUB - 2014

I'm confused: he bought a building or an institutional trademark, a brand? The basement he mentioned could be something going in the same lot, not making part of the main, when not, directly, a metaphor...

The church is a beautiful brick structure sitting in the middle of a lovely middle class neighborhood on a corner lot. It includes two adjoining vacant lots that are basically a huge lawn, where the church held functions like festivals and picnics. It is built on the side of a hill, hence the walk out basement. The property has been meticulously maintained, including a very ornate altar and architecture. It is on the historic registry and cannot be altered on the outside. The church has not been self sustaining for a few years and was forced to close. The congregation will join with another eastern orthodox congregation (Romanian in this case) and again serve as a house of worship. The only difference is that they will not own the property until they can once again be self sustaining, at which point I will sell it back to them. If the churches and the community can truly come together and support the church, then it will succeed. If not, it will fail. There is a strong eastern european community there and they are planning restarting a divine liturgy by the end of the month.

I am not of the orthodox faith, but I have eastern european sons.

It's the second church I have bought.

I'm confused, too. Why are you asking others instead of me?

I wasn't asking anyone specifically: it was easier to just throw out the question without bothering to quote: I wasn't even sure that you would answer

Well Sixthson, at least now you have more space for raising your children ;) Children just love church dont they?
I think it's great idea for us to purchased religious properties nowadays. My town is high in atheism and free thinkers but the older generations are mostly faithful, they left so many sacrilegious place like churches; mostly empty because who wants to go to church anyway. :( So, I think it's better for us to "recycle" the forsaken building and convert it to something more useful like raising their (hetero) forsaken children.

I dont have time to give my attention to those with spiteful delinquency, it's too bad for them, somebody needs to fix their rotten soul-core..,not me : / *sigh

I am jittered that someone might use my name and fiscal identity number to wreak havoc in my life, because I am way too fragile now to waste my life fighting that sort of crap-.

My childish side screamed "I WANNA GET OFF AND PLAY BIG FISH GAMES!!"
My blogger side hinting me to write long rants in Nonsensical ramblings
but my adult side reminds me..if I dont finish my job tonight, you won't be able to pay those bills..

I wonder if that theft of your fiscal identity caused that PayPal problem

There was no problem with it: I only needed it for a couple of orders, and then I was done with the need for an account... but, as they reminded me, I can always open a new one. Still, I found the conditions were too good to either be true or last, and when I found the conditions were changing, I sent the account to cyberhell.

I wish more Jubbers would confess to liking this song.

Hey LEX -

Here's one I bet you don't have!!! (I think it comes out in 2015).

I gave it another look...and now I think I'll pass. Just because the music itself is so damn short. The longest track on there is 1:05. :) I do like the 7" versions they put out earlier in the year, too, but they have the same issue.

How so, is it made of candy?

No... but traditionally the plastic that records were made of were pretty fragile and scratched, cracked, broke, shattered... easily.

I didn't even know they still made vinyl records anymore.
