Confessions of a Teen Idol

Chockachi is a sexy guy. Someone above mentioned him being a dick or something or other but he seems unsure about the show to me. I think he's just being careful. He seems classy to me and not desperate. Those other guys are so desperate for fame! Jeremy Jackson is to young to be that desperate. And why did they pick Eric Nies to be on the show? He isn't a fit. Richard Grieco would have been perfect! Maybe season 2?
lol Richard Greico! I used to love him in "If Looks could kill." I dont see him as someone who held up well. But yea Eric is just wasting people's time. I think he's still a hot piece of ass when he's not talking and his hair isnt unkempt.

Or he's putting urine in it!!!! And he made a reference to drinking it!!! I would need a vodka chaser. lol

Yeah, I wondered why Nies was on the show myself. He's not an actor/singer, which I suppose is why he's not taking these "opportunities" seriously. He really lacks any artistic, creative talent that I'm aware. The only thing he could be is a model...hence, the one opportunity (going shirtless) he had to show the goods that could help his modeling career prompted him to walk off the show. I wonder if the threat of not being paid by breach of contract made him return to the show after a day of pouting.

I could see Atkins and Chokachi on day or nightime soaps. They could have a career resurrection like Peter Gallagher did as the dad on The O.C. Actually, Chokachi could do alot of different TV roles. Atkins, and oh how I adore him, is sadly a poor actor, which is why I'm thinking soapish-type shows.

Jeremy is too unstable, especially for a long-term TV committment. I don't think he can handle the pressure.

Yeah I don't understand why Eric Nies is on this show? Yeah he might have been a host of The Grind, but so what. And I wouldn't say that he is a teen idol either. Does anyone know the story behind his manager who "brain-washed" him?

After watching last night, I was surprised to hear the Atkins had been in more than 60 films. I honestly thought he only done Blue Lagoon. Check out what he is doing and what he has done. Looks like he has a lot of work lined up: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000803/

Atkins was on top of his game with Blue Lagoon, The Pirate Movie, and A Night in Heaven. Then, on "Dallas" as Sue Ellen's lover. After that, he only did a plethera of B-movies (straight to video). I was such a big fan that I watched some of those late '80, early '90 films, and most were dreadful. Although he was sexy as a lifeguard in Australia with Julian MacMahon in Wet and Wild Summer.

The odd thing is that on this show they've acted like he's been out of the business for some time, but clearly from the imdb link, he has been very busy the last few years. One of those films in production stars Val Kilmer. Then again, Chokachi was not exactly washed up either since he starred in a TV series just a year ago. Most of the other cast members really have been out of the limelight for a while.

I loved the Pirate movie when I was a kid!!! Saw that came out on dvd not long ago. But saying he was just in a Val Kilmer movie doesn't make me say wow, lol.

fuck all the rest of thm, Jamie Walter's is so fucking hot, I want him so bad, had such a crush when he was ray pruit

"it's not my fault they can't see how dope i am!" did Jeremy Jackson REALLY say that?:rotflmao:

Yeah. I wonder if some of those theatrics were done for television. I mean, this is not his first round in the entertainment business, and I highly doubt that this show is his first attempt at making a comeback. He probably knows what to expect concerning rejection.

Today's next-to-last episode makes me once again ask, 'why is eric nies on this show?' Does anyone know why he did not participate in the acting lessons/auditions segments? I realize Adrian and Chris weren't available for the first phase and hence weren't allowed to do the coaching with Fineman, but Eric just sat there for both events just like he did for the interviewing segment last week?

They are already at the finale next week. I love Christopher Atkins. Btw, he sells autographed nudes at this website:
http://www.northstreetdesigns.com/chris/store.html
From the home page of his website, it looks like he is a busy man. Also, his son is a senior at UNC Charlotte and an excellent shortstop.

This is a great show! Caught it for the first time last night and really enjoyed it. It's interesting to watch these guys show interest in making a come back and taking steps to resurrect their careers.

I'm pulling for Chris Atkins. I like him and want to see him come back. And I must admit I got a little misty eyed when he was doubting himself about whether or not he "got it" anymore.

So, in the season finale, Chris Atkins gets a part in a film without even having to audition, and David Chokachi gets an interview with the FX network. Nice finale overall. I'm really shocked that I enjoyed this series as much as I did. It had a lot of heart, and opened my eyes somewhat to how these child/younger celebrities must feel when it all fades. The cast overall came across as a pretty descent bunch of guys. Wonder if they'll be a Confessions 2?

STOP!!!!! You wonder if there will be a season 2?!!! You ever seen VH1 b4? lol

Well just looking at imdb.com to see who has work and who doesn't

David Chokachi has a few things in the works:
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0002003/

Jeremy Jackson has nothing:
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0413656/

Adrian Zmed has one movie, a small part it looks like:
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0957460/

Billy Hufsey has nothing:
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0400311/

Eric Nies has nothing:
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0631238/

Jaime Walters has nothing acting wise, not sure on music:
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0910256/

As I expected, Chris Atkins is getting the most work. Like others I dont know what Eric was trying to accomplish. This was a good show because they didnt seem so interested in humiliating and exploiting them. They seemed to truly want to help.

Those specials are the best. This one is good. I can't wait for the 90s. I wish they would release "I love the 80s" on dvd. I heard they can't because they cant get rights to all the music and movie clips.
