Congrates Threads...

I always tell people to not post congrats threads for me, I'm already at 35,000 posts.
 
Aren't they all on the third page of HT within a day or two anyways?

I think the threads are one of the few ways we have to tell another member that we notice them and appreciate them and maybe even like them a lot. I think that does serve a purpose.

As for popularity counting, you can always start your own congrats threads. A lot of members do so and its completely accepted. Sometimes its hard to notice those milestones going by.
