hahaha.. I did notice, and told my friend. But in the film, wasn't her 'That's all.' softer? But still love it.
 
Congrats Meryl. Your speech simply wonderful, thats all.

I want her to win the oscar too but it is obviously Hellens year so another i guess i guess but its about time Meryl got another oscar for crying out loud.
 
Wow i just saw "The Devil Wears Prada" and i just loved it.

Meryl was so good, no wonder she got an oscar nomination for the role.

Question though, when Emily got run over by the taxi, why did Andrea still tell her about Paris? Because when Em got run over i felt well thats perfect timing, now Andrea doesnt have to tell Emily the bad news because her legs are broken so there is no way she could go to Paris anyways.

So then its a case of whats the point of having Emily run over if the writers werent planning to use that as Andrea's way of having cake and eating it too. Its a comedy so it would have been win, win.

I guess its just me but the movie still rocked.
 
Does anybody have a clip of her speech??? i have looked on youtube but nothing i really want to see her say 'Thats all' at the end PLEEEASE POST!!(!)

I think maybe because it makes Andrea look better in the audience's eyes. Either way Emily can't go. So if Andy had not told her about it all, one, Emily would've probably found out about it anyway, and two, it makes Andy look like a sneaky little bitch going behind this girl's back. They kind of set it up so that Andy didn't really have a choice of whether to go. She either went, or her career was over.
