Hey, my family knows a couple of my friends very well....even last names and

their ph #'s....They don't know or need to know any more than thats my friend.

People that put on rings and airs et cetera have made their choice for public...

I know you won't change your mind and I won't change mine...We are both

correctly wrong....ok, we can still be friends or associates or not friends or

whatever....Thats why we have different brains and taste buds.

But Fabio has a partner that he wants to be a part of the family. THAT's the issue here.

You seem to be telling him that "you'd be better off if you hid your relationship from your family."

It makes sense to me: if you would be so distant and so private that you wouldn't tell your family about your straight relationship, so be it. But if your whole family is open about their straight relationships, and you see nothing wrong with that, but the only thing holding you back is that they get all weird about homosexuality, then yes it is totally different and that is when you not only tell them, but you do it in a tutu while sprinkling fairy dust all over the jaws that are dropping to the dinner table and presenting your lover with a Kong™ Dildo which you invite him to unwrap in front of the family.

If they show any inclination to push you into the closet...that's the time to push it open.

Well Bankie...

Seems a little dramatic to me but you know your family best. You have to

live your life and if thats what it takes...you can know I will have your back

even if it isn't quite my style.
