Well I have been a member of the group for a week now and I can finally write in my blog. As the actors say at the academy awards, I would like to thank POOL67BOY for all the instruction he has given me to bring me to this moment of my life. With out his instruction I would still be searching for the correct button to press to give life to my computer. He has told me that sometime in the future he will tell me how to bring life to my Willie. Now won't that be nice at 77 years of age.

Today I had to spend a few hours in GF Hospital getting ready for some radiation treatments.You young people better start keeping your pants on while out of doors. That rubber won't do muck to protect your meat from burning. And the sun blocker probably won't do much to protect your rubber. A no win situation.
My problems started in the early 30"s and continued till the 70's when the operations started. I was lucky that it was damn near impossible to go around nude back then. If it was possible I wouldn't have a pecker, such that it is, now.

Some of you might want to be girls but not that way. If your parents left you with your first toy intact go home and thank them.
After the hospital I joined the drinkers in town at the local tavern's customer appreciation day. Great food, drink, conversation and for the first day in a week no rain. A GOOD TIME.

Spent a few hours at the hospital yesterday being measured for my radiation treatments. They drew pictures on my forehead with red magic marker and then gave me empty packets of alcohol to get it off. start the treats on Monday and continue for about 30 days 5days a week. The hospital is about an hour from home. That means 2 hours travel foe about a 5 minute treatment.
We didn't get much snow this past winter so Mom (nature) is making up for it with rain for summer. That shows the Board of Supervisors what they can do with their new bed tax. They should know by now that new taxes on visitors is no way to draw them in.

Another rainy day in the northeast. Predict lots of sun for next week but who can believe THEM.
Got a week of trips to the hospital. If they are correct it might not be too bad. Pain running to the car in the rain and have to ride for an hour soaked thru.
I think I might be having e mail problems. Got an e from poolboy today and he said he hasn't heard from me in quite a while. Six e's between June10 and June 17 means that he hasn't been reading them or I have a problem. According to my computer they were all sent and not returned.I've only had this computer for about three months and I don't think even I could screw it up in that time.

It is 16, July and my new friend was supposed to visit early this morning. He was going to be busy from 10AM on and he lives about an hour from here. Under our present conditions there isn't much we can do to control the aging of our bodies and minds. The biggest problem I have with it is that all the bad stuff waits for the last few years. An example: I never had a broken bone until I was arriving home from a senior citizen Christmas Dinner about 10 years ago. Slipped on the ice on my deck right in front of the door. One more step and I would have been safely inside. By the time I got back from the hospital it was too late to go to bed. I was still working at the time so I had to loose almost a month of work because I could not drive. ( Save your money while you are young so you can quit work at 50. I didn't quit till I was 74.5 which was 30 years too late.)
I have been bothered by minor skin cancers on my forehead foe about 25 years. After many operations, one skin graft and a couple of burnings the doctors decided to try radiation. It looks like it might be working but the treatments won't end till this Friday.
Had a small accident in my home a week and a half ago and got a bit of a cut on my arm. The ten external stitches come out today so I only have one more battle with the bandages. Ever try to put a decent bandage on the underside of your right wrist with only the help of your dog? When your left hand is as useless as mine it takes about half an hour.
Monday I had an appointment with the eye doctors and they decided that cataract operations were in my future. Sept. 12 will be the first and if all goes well the other about a month later.
See what I mean by "it all waits till the end". This is only for the current list of items I have talked to the doctors about. Got a lot more but I think I am going to take some time off and try and enjoy myself. Haven't even been in the local tavern in a week. Save as much as you can while young, stay out of the sun, don't smoke ar use drugs, remember to dress your dick and have FUN.
