nero 7 can do it, but i've had substantial problems getting it to work well. i almost always have audio/video sync issues. maybe it's me or my computer, but i've not had much luck with nero. that's the only thing i've tried though.

Assuming you don't have a Mac (which does this with iDVD) I hear Nero Vision can do this.

But that still doesn't guarantee the voices will be in proper sync. They may be when I preview just before I burn but that doesn't guarantee 100% success everytime.
Well, they have a full time-limited "try" mode before you purchase. That solution can possibly help the original poster get past his immediate hurdle, since he was having an issue with one particular file.Um its $50 US + S & H?
Isn't anything free anymore?
I'll look for the codec first - thought I had all the ones I need.
If you're having trouble with AVIs you might try downloading Prism - a freeware program that will convert just about any video type to any other video type.
Having another option can't hurt.
Finally heard back from Nero and what they "need me to do" will require tech support at my end in person. It's almost like they want me to not bother. Will try the free trial and if need be the freeware and if either perfectly burns one particular avi file then I will uninstall Nero and sell it on eBay or Kijiji.
