In the early to mid eighties it was the coolest thing for men and women to wear the tightest jeans they can fit into.

Too bad I was too young to enjoy that trend.:grrr:

Also in the 80's there was bum bags and shell suits. But they were never cool....

Those annoying giga pets. Every kid in school had one. Always beeping during class. I remember girls crying when theirs died. FMchildhoodL

I still have maybe 200 Garbage Pail Kids cards. They are funny!

Here's a good list: http://crazyfads.com/

I think the best fad was streaking. Very popular in the spring of 1974.

BRING BACK THE 90's!!!! BEST DECADE OF ALL TIME!!

Roller-skates
Yoyo's
Early Britney Spears
Fun Fashion + Linda Evangelista!!

C'mon

Eehh... kickboards/scooters are still in today. Every kid has one and sometimes you see an infantile adult riding them.

True. I miss landau roofs, velour interiors, and white wall tires.

Not to mention the button tufted leather seats that had about a foot of stuffing in them that were more comfortable that the couch in the house. And when you said a car had either that Lincoln Ride or Cadillac Ride - it meant hours of pleasurable comfortable motoring. Oh yeah - and if you were above 6 feet tall - you could still sit anywhere in the car and be comfortable. Try that now in a Honda Civic.

Around five years really big trucks were all the rage.
