But what I find especially sexy about Cade is that I suspect he's one of those guys who came to CF looking for something more than a pay-check (as opposed to Logan, whose disinhibition I suspect is a function of how much weed he smoked before his scene). I mean, you can feel the longing in his scenes. It's actually quite touching.
There's a dichotomy to gay culture in Boston. Boston is, of course, the archetypal 'college town', with Harvard at the top of the pecking order. And then of course there's BC, which long running local joke states stands for 'Big Closet'. The younger gay scene is very college oriented, and natives like Cade are often excluded/looked down upon as 'townies'. Their resentment of rich kids is legit.
The adult gay scene is dominated by very successful professionals, many Ivy educated and most not native. Again, the unfortunate guy from Southie or Revere or B'rica who happens to be queeyah is usually excluded from the 'A-Gay' circuit, and ends up cruising the Fens. And of course if you happen to be queeyah and come from this background, coming out ain't the easiest thing to do! Enter Corbin Fisher.
