It's not just Corbin Fisher: they all do it, especially for the stills.

Just about anyone who gets in front of a camera for a professional shoot puts some kind of make-up on. I got powered-up like that for my high school yearbook pic. At the time it was explained to me that the powder cuts down on the skin's reflective glare from the harsh studio lighting, which can make it look pasty.

Like Trey, Dru also does fashion modeling also. Perhaps this accounts for why there scenes together are so electric?

One of the things that came out in the bts videos from the work cf did with ba was that the cf guys, at that time, weren't used to wearing makeup. That has obviously changed.

I would agree with the rest of your assessment. It isn't just the director, it's also the excellent camera work, lighting, and editing. cf always shows the transitions between sexual positions so that the viewer is left with the impression that they have seen the whole video as shot (even if there was tons of footage left on the editing room floor). Likewise, cf videos are normally, but not always, well lite. You never see the shadow of a cameraman or director in the video itself. Nor do you see lights, or other external objects. Rarely do you see a model look outside the frame of the video. It has been a long time since we've heard Corbin (or any other director) say shc in the middle of a video.

If there was any weakness in cf videos, it would be the audio - the loud ac noise in cr, the airplanes and neighbors' leaf blowers in lv, and the over the top moaning a few of the models. HD video is another area where cf is starting to fall behind their competition. I would like to see acm and acs videos in 1080p, or at least 720p. Still, when I watch gay porn from other studios, cf gets more of it right than any other studio I watch. And that makes cf videos some of the hottest gay porn around.

They saturate the color and adjust the tint too........VERY few, if any, people look THAT good in real life.

I really don't like seeing models with blemishes... on face or ass. Studios like Fetish Factory and it's affiliates never use makeup and they really need to. It's one thing to be all painted up to the point of unrecognizably like the girls of porn, but makeup can create an illusion of perfection that most of us like in porn. Bel Ami is best at it.
