I'll be quick to say I miss Cormac. He was kindly toward me and was a constant on the forums.

I'm not altogether certain he isn't here now under a new user name, as the site really doesn't suppress puppet accounts as it says it does. This has been proven over and over.

Whether he and I have much in common isn't my care, really, as JUB needs diversity, but has been declining due to its tendency to allow harrying of the dissidents. We've run off women, trans, bi, ethnicities, conservatives, and who knows what other sectors as we've tolerated bullying by some members but not others.

When I joined some 15 years ago, Hot Topics was a foment of everything. Now, it's little more than a few surviors and a few propagandists for chosen politics.

If Cormac has left, it was from the tedium.

I agree 100% that diversity on JUB is declining and that if you don't conform to a certain ideology, you get ripped apart. Different opinions used to be tolerated without insults, but now you get bullied into submission if your opinion is out of step with what is popular at the moment. I hope that cormac is alright, in good health, and will return soon.

Cormac just turned 30 in December. That stayed consistent throughout his time here. Another thing that the mods should know.

I'm actually surprised by that because he came across as such an old soul through music and history etcetera.

Cormac is really well learned, I think he got a lot of it from his mother. As I said he’s a very intelligent guy when you get past his humor
