Could a gay man fall in love with a...

It happens to me all the time.

I think you could say I'm a "woman friendly" type of gay.

Upon reflection, window, you're completely correct. What I said was hate-filled, extremely mean, and utterly unwarranted. I jumped all over somebody new here simply because his opinions differed from my own. That was unbelievably petty and juvenile.

I'm sorry.

I'd say it's time for another JUB break...

Thank you for the lesson.

Lex

No, and I'm getting sick and fucking tired of these "Oh come on now, you gay guys know you could get with women, right? if you had to? REALLY? Even if you were stranded on a desert island with Jenna Jamieson" threads of yours.

Being gay means that women are friends and nothing but.

Do you ask your straight male friends "Could you fall in love with a man? REally.. even Brad Pitt?"

Agreed, and someone who can forge romantic relationships with either sex is not a phenomenon. They're called Bisexuals...just in case no-ones heard of them.

the only chick i would ever go for is Joan Jett

awesome awesome woman

but alas she's into chicks........
oh well

I think many gay men can become emotionally attached to a female and mistake that for love and at times may become possessive of her because "she is mine' and actually become jeolous of any other friends she may have.

One question: if you could have married with that girl, would your gay tendencies have never come out?

I've had two psychologists who maintained that everyone is actually bisexual -- it's just that most never meet the person(s) of the non-"gender of preference" to wake them up, or deny it if they do. That's really what your question is driving at -- we may have tendencies/preferences that never "wake up" because they haven't been exposed to the right stimulus.

PS I have come to notice here on this forums that the older folks (50 +) are the ones who are more open minded about everything. :=D:

And less judgmental?
It's called experience, I think. I'll tell you for sure when I find out.

:=D: Good for you

Windowtopacaya, I can't really answer your question but I suspect they would have. I have a couple of friends that married their first love and then eventually became involved with men. I thought my world had ended when she told me she couldn't stand the pressure any more, but in hindsight I realize it was for the best. For me love is about the person, I have loved two wonderful people one male and one female. However over the long term I doubt if I would have been as happy with her as I am now.

Yeah, thanks for the shallow answer!
thanks for your clued-out responce.
The question was about falling in love with a person, not about fucking one

Where did I say anything about fucking?
We all know we could function physically with someone of the opposite gender if we had to. And, gosh, Soil, don't some of your "straig ht frat boys" end up diddling one another? How does that work with your theory?
they're not in love?
