Countries you've wanted to live in/visit?

I guess I've always sorta had the travel bug, so there are a bunch of countries that I've wondered what it's like to live in.... spain, portugal, france, sweden, norway, netherlands. I've always had a strong desire to try living in these places, just to see what it is like... esp. france.

How about you people? Any places you'd want to try living in if friendships/family/money weren't a factor?

I would like to live in London for 6 months (I wouldn't bear to be away from France for more than 6 months, I am too attached to the french culture ).

I'm not sure... Australia, South Africa, Norway or Sweden. I don't think I could stay in South Africa or Australia though, because I really need snow to survive. So...vacation home in Australia?

I'd like to go back to England, too. Miserable place, but a part of me wants to properly meet my extended family.

France, of course.

Plus, I've always had a strange fascination with Germany.

Australia/New Zealand -definitely! Canada & Iceland. Uhm,.. and maybe Japan- but only to visit. And a few other choice, weird/oddball places- if offered the opportunity. Ha ha,. outside of the first 3, everything else is probably just musing. Time will tell.

I'd love to visit Hong Kong, Rome, and Auckland. Having visited Sydney, London, Paris, and Winnipeg I wouldn't mind living in Canada or Australia. England and France are nice but I think Canada is closest to a standard of living I'm used to here in the States. Besides, I have relatives there!

I've visited AND lived in the US, great to visit, very confusing backwards place though. I still want to go back, fly into san-fran and drive the coast road, see the city, then drive off to Las-Vegas for a week (already been but when I was 18 8).

*Canada, I love the weather especially in some places where its quite hot in summer yet so cold your nipples fall off in winter.

*The UK

*Sweeden/Norway/Switz/Germany - because I love the people and see them as how a modern world should be. Would love to go and just take it all in, the culture etc.
Note: Will not be convinced by Swedes to try salted liquorice again...

*Australia! I still haven't travelled around the coastal roads to visit places I haven't seen before. Probably go by motorbike or classic car
