What the bloody hell is wrong with these people?

A circus promoter couple is accused of abusing, chaining and starving their 12-year-old son prior to his death in Indiana last week, authorities said...

Monroe County Coroner Joni Shields said she discovered bruises all over Eduardo's skeletal frame, according WTHR. He weighed about 50 pounds and had zero-percent body fat at the time of his death.

The guy doesn't look like he's skipped any meal for a while.

What an utter tragedy, hopefully they'll get life in prison, i'd stone them to death.

There are always monsters among us.

There is no explanation for why psychopathy can continue to thrive in plain sight.

It doesn't start this way. It begins with angry bitter people needing a safe target. Then the child becomes the scapegoat, incrementally the emotional abuse turns to physical abuse. It's hard to picture parents doing this but the child loses their identity as a person. They in their parent's eyes become a possession, an item. Family dynamics can be crazy.

I'm sure there must be published materials on the syndrome now that we have seen it repeatedly in the past century at least.

The problem is, particularly with criminal mental illness, it has become the fashion to see the illness as a mitigation for accountability, even equating the behavior with insanity or the inability to behave otherwise.

The reality is that you could create a psychological theory for how people become avid animal lovers, social justice warriors, hawks, philanderers, misers, etc., that are actually just explanations of how the preferred perspective is adopted and then furthered. It doesn't mean the individual is unable to perceive or behave otherwise.

These parents are guilty of murder. They should be executed and forgotten.

They boy seems chubby in the photo

Oh, well that makes it all different. He may have deserved to starve then. After all, fat people are constantly starving anyway, as read on JUB, so it all makes sense now. The chains may have been the only way to keep him from the Cheetos.

What a shame. The parents deserve all that they will get and probably more punishment.

chain those two fucks to the floor in the center of a large room that has banquet tables full of food lining the walls; w/ enough slack in their chains that they can get close to the tables, but not close enough to eat.

As cruel as we want to be...it can't bring dear Eduardo back
So let's not make the world any meaner. Eduardo might appreciate that.

while Eduardo was dying, I imagine he would have appreciated a nice ham sandwich more...

I have NO compassion for people who abuse, torture, and murder children...especially their own

The temptation to deliver what they deserve is a natural reaction, unlike watching your son die while you look on.

But, our society rightly puts a check on such extremes. However, it unjustly impedes the justice our courts and constitution have ordained and allowed. Until that injustice is remedied, the society is left in an increasing state of entropy.

We cannot at once complain that we incarcerate too many while we have left life sentences that result in prisoners who will be incarcerated for 30 to 80 years if they live.

Without cruelty, and without sympathy, these killers need to be executed and not warehoused.
