First problem- I want to come out to my parents and everyone that Im bi. But I constantly hear my family bashing not gays, but bis. Things like "Those damn bisexuals are just confused" "They need to pick a side" "If it werent for those god damn bisexuals, no straight people would ever get AIDS" "Its just a fad" and "All those bisexuals are whores".
In this ridiculously ignorant, negative environment, Im REALLY afraid of coming out. Im a big performer, and known for being something of a joker, so its rare that anyone takes me seriously, particularly my parents, and on an issue like this. Ive hinted at it before and my mother usually tells me that I "Better not be gay" and that she knows I want to "try on all the hats". How do I tell them that bisexuality is real, that I am confident in my bisexuality, and show them that all of their ignorant perceptions are off, brutally?
Second problem (more of a situation than anything)- Theres this boy I know quite well. Whenever we see each other, he grinds up on me, touches my ass, and will even give me a peck on the cheek now and then. He claims to be straight, but that he believes that "everyone is at least a little bisexual". Is there a way I can kind of coax him into getting with me? I think about him lots, and it would be great to get into a relationship, but how do I get him to open up about his gay side?
Thanks, help is appreciated! =]
