I've had quite a few success stories from CL. I'm in LA and used CL years ago. Mostly you're wasting your time and dealing with fakes and flakes, and often when you met with a guy he wouldn't look like his pics. But once in a while you hit the jackpot and got something good. It's far from the best way to meet guys but better than nothing, if you have time and patience.

Thanks. I have seen quite a few m4m and mw4m ads on CL that sound perfect. My fear is that they are too good to be true. It sounds like most of the time they are, but occasionally there might be a diamond in the rough. Is there anywhere else that is more reliable than CL?
 
Craigslist gives me the creeps. There is something about that site that I just don't like. I prefer to use Manhunt and Adam4Adam. I have had good success without any problems.

Too good to be true is usually how it goes, yes. Lots of fake people out there. Or people who will never meet. Or they totaly dont look their pics. Yes, occasional diamond in the rough. But rare, ok.

Adam4adam and manhunt might be better as people say, at least they require profiles and some effort. however, my friends who use a4a right now say they encounter many of the same problems as CL.
 
Craigslist used to be good but its been taken over by adbots and spammers.
 
Here's the deal. CL is quick n easy, and that's what it's for.
The best experiences I have had an continue to have off a CL are the ones that are motivated and do the deal within 5 email exchanges. Yeah, there are flakes n no shows etc etc., but usually if ya go beyond 5 exchanges somebody's either jackin u around or just jackin.....
