I personally cant wait for Paris Hilton's new album. I dont like Latoya's first cd at all. But we'll see what she does with this album. I'm excited for the new Broke Straight Boys album. I have always enjoyed thier music and think that their lastest album, Never Gone, is their strongest thus far.

Let me go ahead and get rid of all my cool points in one go.

The first Paris Hilton album is really good.

Yes, PH is, at best, a serviceable vocalist. But whoever was in charge of the project specifically found songs that fit her range, made the songs poppy and catchy, and produced the album in such a way that she never sounds overwhelmed OR annoying. Yes, Paris is the least important factor of the entire project, but the fact that it works at ALL is incredible. The fact that it's actually fun to listen to (and trust me, I am NOT a fan of this woman) makes it a friggin' miracle of the 21st Century. Whoever was in charge of this album should've won a friggin' Grammy.

That said, their chance of catching lightning in the bottle twice is slim indeed.

Didn't Courtney work with Linda on her last album? I really didn't like that one at all. The only stuff of hers I've liked has been the Celebrity Skin album, which is odd, since on that one, she was teamed up with Billy Corgan, someone else I'm not fond of...

America's Sweetheart. Came out in 2004. I know it was a bit buried in the flurry of legal hassles she was involved in, but I'm shocked that somebody who cares (re: you) didn't even know it came out.

I didn't like it. I was at least hoping for something catchy, and didn't even get that. A nd I checked - yes, Linda Perry co-write nine of the twelve tracks.
