Anyone interested in seeing this? I am hoping to go this week.

Re: Rich Crazy Asians

Good movie, but easy to know what will happen.

Re: Rich Crazy Asians

Very entertaining movie! I'm generally annoyed by the mom-of-the-boyfriend that hates the girlfriend narrative but this one was a lot more fleshed out. I could see where they were coming from.
And Astrid's arc was a little surprising.

Really liked Peik Lin.
Also loved the game theory aspect!

Re: Rich Crazy Asians

Saw it at an advanced screening and enjoyed it! Nothing amazing and it was predictable but still a likeable movie.

Re: Rich Crazy Asians

It was so much fun. Singapore is such a good setting for a rom com and Henry is so charming

Re: Rich Crazy Asians

I'm a Chinese guy from Singapore and I'm disappointed and insulted by this movie.

They cast a half-white/half-Asian guy Henry Golding to play a Chinese guy in this movie.

Henry Golding looks nothing like Asian or Chinese. He looks white or should I say....Eurasian??

It's like the filmmakers feel that , "Asian men are not attractive enough to play leading roles in Hollywood romantic comedies, so they decided to cast a half white/half Asian guy for the lead role".

I have not seen this movie and NEVER will pay to see this in cinema.

This is disgusting to me.

If you watch this in cinema, it's like you are okay with Hollywood to continue desexualise and emasculate Asian men in Hollywood cinema.

I've heard it is a good movie. I plan to rent it when it is released in a few months. I only go to the movie theater about once or twice a year.
