crazy wacky stupid lefty shoots at republican whip

this whole thread is pathetic...are we really playing red rover?

Since this thread has deteriorated even below my standards and made Rouge

Polymer Spheroids post #74 a complete trollian prevarication, I demand that my name

e removed from the title as I do not care for the denigration and indignity of lower casing

my name and further implying I am a stupid politically violent individual.

This causes me great umbrage and violates the very precepts JUB stands for. A formal

apology issued forthwith would not be out of line. or inappropriate :(:cry::sex:

RRB isn't a troll, either. He can be whimsical, satirical, irreverent, loopy, and irrational, but he;s no troll.

I agree. He was, however, trolling when he created this thread. And has continued to do so as the thread has progressed.

I think his title was making fun of the over-the-top reactions of those on the left reacting the way they did to what's been happening to democrats.

You are behaving like unmitigated bastards....how dare you ignore me?

***Sarah...Sarah who is on the lock and load contract this week? Lefty mutters and fumes away****

I think his title was making fun of the over-the-top reactions of those on the left reacting the way they did to what's been happening to democrats.

You mean the terrorist attacks* on Congressmen and their siblings? Over the top? Sorry, I don't think the reaction has been over the top at all.
____
*As I showed on another thread, those acts do fit the USA PATRIOT Act definition of domestic terrorism. But they won't be prosecuted as such, because DSA really only applies those rules to brown people.

your mean the congressman's brother and the cut gas line?

ok fine and i agree. the act was horrible

has anyone been arrested for it

much less found guilty

if not, how do you know the person's political affiliation

I don't know it. But it happened right after the address was posted on a Teabagger Turned Terrorist (TTT) blog and identified as the Congressman's that it happened. None of the other gas lines in the neighborhood were cut. The brother didn't have any enemies of his own that I know of.

It's not unreasonable to connect the two. Someone who's taking instructions from a TTT blog is not likely to be a Democratic Socialist (like me).

yes, i read it! ..| but do you want to pass a guilty verdict on your assertions and your loose associations?

oh wait, you have

Well, anyone with an ounce of common sense can easily see that I was very careful about what I said, and what conclusions I drew. It's not surprising to me that you can't. You are being a total jerk, and I've had it with you. Goodbye.

i think what you are trying to say is i dont agree with you

sorry if i rather have some solid proof

goodbye

But actual evidence of what another person is saying apparently isn't required for you to draw nonsensical conclusions. I don't mean you don't agree with me. I mean you're being a jerk about it. There's a difference that non-jerks understand immediately.

Let me be clear. This is disagreeing:

Críostóir, I don't agree. The evidence you cite is circumstantial, and I don't agree that it's reasonable to conclude that the Tea Party movement is behind the attack on the Congressman's brother's house.

This is being a jerk:
yes, i read it! ..| but do you want to pass a guilty verdict on your assertions and your loose associations?

oh wait, you have

Oh, now I'm a fascist. Why can't I walk away from this conversation?

Oh wait, I can.

This is leaving so have fun with your circle jerk*|**|*

*wave**wave**wave*

i really find it strange (not joking) that self professed liberal progressive thinkers would want to condemn a person on the flimsiest of evidence then extrapolate that presumed guilt (not presumed innocence) onto a whole group

this line of thought is an affront to real liberals past and present

has to remind you of the 'law' in 1950-60s deep south. it does me

i rather be a "jerk" here than a fascist

The Tea Bag blogger posts the congressman's brother's address. I believe the blog even invites people who oppose the congressman's vote to visit him at that address. Then the gas line is cut. People conclude that someone who read the blog is guilty of the act. Why? Because this is strong circumstantial evidence that someone who read the blog is guilty of the act. Is it guilt beyond a reasonable doubt? No, but no one is being convicted. Is it a sufficient basis to condemn conduct that may incite mentally unbalanced people to harm congresspeople or vandalize their property? I think any reasonable person would conclude yes.

You all have no shame, do you? Its perfectly alright to hurl accusations of being staged, etc. when its someone you disagree with politically, but when its someone on your side you throw up your hands and say its the worst thing in the world.

Ahem .....

UPDATE

RICHMOND, Va. — Richmond police say the bullet that hit a window of Republican Virginia Congressman Eric Cantor's office had been randomly fired skyward.

Amid reports of threats and vandalism against Democrats who voted Sunday for sweeping health care reforms, Cantor said at a Washington news conference Thursday that a bullet was fired into his Richmond office. In a news release, Richmond police said that the bullet had been fired into the air early Tuesday. It hit the front window of a building that houses Cantor's campaign office as it fell to back earth at a sharp angle.

The round landed on the floor of the office a foot inside a broken window pane. No one was in the building, and police say an investigation has yielded no suspects.

Yeah, so much for being "shot at". Somebody in the middle of the night fired a gun straight up into the air, and when the bullet came back down, it happened to strike Mr. Cantor's window.

I just find it funny that when people questioned the legitimacy of this, Droid criticized everyone who did so .... only to find out that Cantor's office was not directly "shot at", afterall.

My only problem with this Mystik is there is no mention of proof either way.

No evidence so to speak, just 'investigations'...oh and hearsay on behalf of

all parties involved. Damn, I am getting cynical in my agedness.:p

Droid criticized accusations that it was staged.

Ahem -- there's no evidence it was staged.

And if the report you link to is accurate, nobody in Cantor's office could have known where the bullet was shot from or why.

Droid's point is well taken.
