I'll third that..... why are you assuming she didn't marry the father of her child and why is that relevant?

The woman was driving an Infiniti. I'm assuming it was a stolen car. Everyone knows crazy black women, especially one who didn't marry the father of her child wouldn't drive an Infiniti. She couldn't afford a car like that.

We can conjecture the story too.

Why did they have to mention that she was a woman? Women are stereotyped as being poor drivers and this story isn't help them shed that stereotype at all. The title of this thread is misogynistic and should be changed. (sarcasm)

You're asking why I've assumed Miriam Carey didn't marry the father of her child. Well mainly because married people usually take responsibility for each other.

Miriam had issues but her employer was busy with patients and running the business. Miriam's sisters said she had a "moment of instability" but they were obviously busy with their own families.

I would see a husband's role as the one responsible for "giving her the help she deserved" whenever she had a "moment of instability". I just don't recommend seeking the 'kindness from strangers' and asking for some 'quality time' with heavily-armed strangers in the most heavily-fortified square mile in the world.
