So my Zune broke about a month ago :( and I had a subscription for their "All you can eat" music thing and have a bunch of music.

I was looking into the Vision:M at Fry's and it said that it syncs with WMP11. My question: If I set the Zune Music to play by default on WMP11, could I just sync it to the Zen Vision: M?

What format are Zune Music files?

From Wikipedia:

Well whatever WMP11 plays it will be able to sync to the Vision: M. I hate using Windows Media Player to transfer my music, I just use the software that I downloaded from Creative's website. I actually have the same exact MP3 player you're talking about too, I've had it since November of last year, it's been working perfectly fine ever since, I've even dropped it on the floor when working out at school and it hasn't fucked up. I think they are better than a Zune.

I also have one and I'm totally in love with it. It's awesome.

If you do plan to buy it, and you're wanting to buy something to protect the player, DO NOT buy this cover. It scratched the fuck out of my MP3 Player and I ended up paying the price. I bought a skin cover which fits perfectly nice.

Which cover is that? I bought also a silicone skin with some hard plastic to "protect" the screen, but it only ended up scratching the borders. Grr. Im now using a leather case which so far gets the job done much better.

go here:

bestskinsever.com

and buy the skin for the zvm.

Follow the installation instructions carefully and to the best of your ability.

Using this "skin," which is truly invisible, if installed correctly, your player will not be scratched at all, no matter what case you use. I use it, and have used it on my zvm, and cell phone, and have not had any problems, for almost a year now.

It will not leave a sticky goop if you try to remove it, I have personally had to remove one (for an RMA), and no goop was left (after 7 months of use).

Silicone skins will always end up scratching the device somehow, unless you use the product I linked to, or an Invisible shield (which is the exact same thing as the best skin ever, only it costs a lot more, and I don't know if you can order one oustide of the US).

Actually, the silicone skin itself does not scratch the player, but instead, particles of dust and dirt get in between the skin and the player, then the skin moves ever so slightly, and pushes the dirt/dust into the surface of the device, causing the scratch.

A leather case may also cause scratching to the player :(

My reccomendation:
Best Skin Ever for scratch protection
+
a leather case for drop protection
=
one happy ZVM

it wouldn't of scrattched it if you put a best skin ever on your zen first.

Well I bought that protector when I first bought the player....I would of bought a different skin first if I knew.

I dont mind little irrelevant scratches on the player. I mean, its not like im staring at that all the time enough to bother me. But the screen IS the biggest deal for me.
