A couple weeks ago there is this new guy at the place where I work. He is a little bit older, I'm not sure by how much, but if I had to guestimate, I am 21 and he looks to be about mid thirty's to older. he is the cutest thing ever. From when he first introduced himself to me I was interested. And he definately IS gay. I am almost certain that he has been flirting back with me over the past couple of days, or atleast I hope so. One little problem. I told my best friend, who also works with me, that I have a crush on him, and she told me she would be so mad at him, not me if anything happened. Another little problem, there's my sexuality. Am I gay/straight? There is a long story behind this, and if you want to hear it just mail me (or ask me here) but I'm not gay. But I do enjoy his company. I'm just kinda stuck!

First of all you dont have to label yourself as gay or straight. If you like someone, you like them, male or female. At this day and age you shouldn't have to determine anything to anyone. Second, it gets a little hinky when its a coworker. I dont want to seem like a hyppocrite since I have a boyfriend that works in the same company I do, but we dont work in an office or see each other at work very often. But if anything should go on between you two guys and then break it off, it gets wierd at work for both of you. And why would your female friend be mad at him? I dont get that. Well, my friend is jealous because she dosen't want me to get hurt, or be with a man. And things wouldn't be weird between us because he works at a different location.
 
I think your female friend has feelings for you. Relationship feelings. Reason why is because she would get mad at him if you did anything with him, and because she doesn't want you to get hurt, so she isn't against you liking him.
 
Go out with him for a beer some night after work and see what happens. It's none of your friend's business who you go after. You obviously want to be with a man. Then come back and tell us all about it.

Yeah she told me that she is a little bit jealous today. Especially after what happened at work. I think I officially fell for him today. He flirted with me, he was very touchy feely, and before he left he help my hand and caressed it. Jokingly, but I still know he has an interest in me as well. He won't be here too much longer, but I'm not too worried about that.

I would say go out with him as friends. If something happens it happens. If not then oh well.
