Curling fans will appreciate this shot.

Non-curling fans will probably think, "What's the big deal? I can do that."

Curling stones weigh 20 kilos (44 pounds). Do the math. That's how much granite you would have to move.

John Morris makes it look easy. Believe me, it isn't:

As much as I knock curling as an Olympic sport - I couldn't do it.

I have a crush on JOHN MORRIS... can we have more sexy pictures of him? I couldnt find one on the net

That was amazing :=D: What just happened

oh he's hot. I didn't know there were hot curlers...I'm watching curling from now on.

John Morris is a fireman during the day, he may end up in a calendar at some point. He is very fit.

Some very good looking curlers, I liked one of the Norwegians!.

I curled a bit in high school, but never was very good at it.

Yes, the 'rocks' are very heavy when you actually think about it, but they do tend to slide quite well, so you barely notice...Not that I'm saying it's easy, because as I said, I was never very good at it...

Except for knocking things out, that I could do very well, just don't let me throw the hammer if you need me to win.

I love watching curling when the Olympics are on. People here in the states look at me strange when I tell them that curling is my favorite sport to watch of the Olympics. The Canada (mens) team kicked ass this year.

There's no physical prowess involved. Pushing 40p isn't hard when it's on ice.

I don't classify curling as a sport, and I play it.
It requires physical skill, of course it's a sport. Adapting to changing ice conditions and throwing properly, not to mention hard sweeping, is more physical than golf, which has been added to the summer games.

Have a 300 pound obese man throw rocks and sweep for 10 ends and see how well he does, you know, seeing as how there's no physical prowess involved.

The only thing that confuses me is the opposing team being allowed to sweep the other team's stones, when the opposing team's stone is in play.

That can only happen after the stone crosses the T-line (the 'cross' in the centre of the 'button, or the middle ring) and only if the opposing team isn't still sweeping it.

The T-Line is clearly visible in this photo. It divides the rings horizontally:
