Current "The Hobbit" Casting

I haven't heard of any of those actors. This will be a change from the LoTR trilogy where big Hollywood talent was used. Not that it matters I suppose, I'm fairly confident Peter Jackson will make this another hit no matter who is cast.

I love Rob Krasinski.. He'll be great (and hot), not sure on Martin Freeman, he just doesnt seem capable or able for the role.

I had to Google each of those guys to see who they were. I'm actually pretty pleased with the Bilbo pick.

I have to say though....I don't know about some of the others.

I know there is a lot they can do with makeup and effects, but (as shallow as this sounds) some of those guys are a bit too good looking to play the dwarves. Maybe it's just me.. I don't know.

There's been so much Drama reported in 2010 about the "Making" of this film...Once it was given the Green Light then they lost a Producer or whatever...

I think I read somewhere a couple of weeks ago that everything is a-go...

I would like to see at least 1 or 2 Black Hobbits in this film...Even if they play "extras"...

It was reported on a talk show that the Casting Director was "Fired" because he didnt want to hire "Dark-skin" hobbits....

Now Peter Jackson is claiming he's going to hire Hobbits of all races...
