Current TV Shows you're watching - 2015

Tonight is Scandal, How To Get Away With Murder, Bones, and Heroes Reborn.

Heroes Reborn.

Excellent so far........well apart from the Japanese video games nonsense.

^Yes that story line is a bit of a mess right now. Does she posses a power or is it the sword's power? I heard people say it's the sword.

As 'Downton Abbey' has come to a close, I have finished watching 'Charmed' and my interest in 'South Park' and 'Family Guy' has declined rapidly, I found myself in need of some new shows, especially since 'Sherlock' will only broadcast a Christmas special this year and it's still about four and a half months until 'Game of Thrones' returns.
So I have now started watching the 2012 anime mini series 'Another'. It's very dark and eerie, I would readily recommend it to any horror/mystery fans. Also I'm thinking about starting the mini series 'Shogun'. If anybody has seen it, I'd love to hear an opinion.

My interest in South Park has greatly declined. I used to be excited when a new episode aired and now I don't care if I do miss episodes. Family Guy is complete garbage now.

Now that The Challenge on MTV is back I'll watch that during the winter TV season.

Is 'Hotel' any good? I have watched all series so far and while 'Murder House' was great and 'Asylum' absolutely amazing, I found 'Coven' and 'Freak Show' to be a bit disappointing. Not in the acting department nor the storylines obviously, but merely the "creep factor" wasn't very high. I do like the concept of the show though and I adore Jessica Lange and Sarah Paulson.

^just finished Freak Show on Hulu, haven't started Hotel yet.
I also like Jessica Lange, she's not in Hotel though, Lady Gaga is, so that's a reason to at least see if she can act.
I love Angela Basset.

Just finished the last episode of London Spy, better ending than i thought. Very good show overall.

Well, portraying a weirdo shouldn't be too much of a challenge for her, amirite?

I love Angela Basset.

I agree. Her portrayal of Marie Laveau in 'Coven' was absolute perfection.

EDIT: I'm also quite happy that Kathy Bates is in 'Hotel' too. I loved her as Delphine LaLaurie. Ever since 'Titanic' I have had a very weak spot for her and a bonus is that she may very well be one of the few Americans who can speak decent French - as evidenced in 'Midnight in Paris' and 'Coven'.

I've now started 'House of Cards' (the U.S. version). While there have been many acclaimed shows that seem to hypnotise its viewers to tell everyone who doesn't want to hear it how great the shows in question are ('Breaking Bad', 'The Walking Dead' are just a few that come to mind) I have to say that with 'HoC' I agree with the mouth-to-mouth propaganda. There's some kind of magic to it that I just can't put my finger on. I'm utterly hooked.
Also it obviously helps that while Kevin Spacey may be 500 years old, I still wouldn't kick him out of bed.

On that note, does anybody here have an opinion on the original UK miniseries?

Currently the only shows that I watch are American Horror Story (my least favorite season thus far), Ash Vs. the Evil dead, Bob's Burgers, Sanjay and Craig, and I've been trying to catch up to South Park. Beyond that I really don't watch anything else.

right now I'm prepping for another episode of American Horror Story: Hotel and getting ready to be disappointed once again

Just finished watching Making a Murderer. If you haven't seen it yet, it's on Netflix. Highly recommended if you like true crime stories.

I've actually read a newspaper article about it just yesterday. It also said that 'The Jinx' and 'Serial' were very good. Any opinions on those?
