Current TV Shows you're watching - 2015

I'm not a big T.V. watcher, the only shows I watch regularly are Vikings, and Justified.

I'm currently watching Parenthood. It's alright, just a lot of teen drama and angst that gets old sometimes. I was watching Torchwood (because of hottie John Barrowman, not gonna lie) but once my favorite people died I lost interest

I loved the show Parenthood. I thought it was one of the best family dramas on TV. I was sad when they ended the series.

The Black List
Hells Kitchen
Shark Tank
Bar Rescue
Chopped

I'm waiting for Project Runway and Master Chef to start soon

For me, it's HBO's Game of Thrones, which I want see win the best-drama Emmy, as well as Veep and Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. (This is with the latest as of May 3, 2015.) I am very close to giving up CBS's The Good Wife which, frankly, has sucked with its sixth-season storylines. I am still following the network's 15-year-old Survivor. And, with it having wrapped its season with its April 20, 2015 broadcast, I dig that Freshmen escapist silliness called Scorpion.… On NBC, I still tune in the 16-year-old Law & Order: Special Victims Unit which is, for me, Comfort TV. (Odd!) And I'll tune in the network's Chicago Fire and Chicago PD because, perhaps, I just like anything Chicago.… On ABC, I have been watching Scandal and the miniseries American Crime. (I did miss last week's episodes.) But, in all of this, I'm glad the regular season is about over with because, right now, I'm just about ready to turn my attention elsewhere.

Chicago Fire Season Finale next week. This show is great and the hot guys aren't bad either. LOL

Law and Order: SVU even though this show has been on TV a long time they keep coming up with great stories based on true stories. I do miss Christopher Meloni though.

Following the advice of several people who know about my love for written murder mysteries, I started watching the Midsomer Murders. It's absolutely brilliant. The episodes are quite long so each one is more like a short film - which is just as well as I'm about to have my wisdom teeth pulled and need something to pass the time during which I'm going to look like Marlon Brando in The Godfather.

I also watched the BBC show 'Sherlock' with Benedict Cumberbatch. I've heard lots of people referring to it as 'intelligent' and 'brilliant' and while I find the show very enjoyable indeed, I have to say that some of the deductions SH makes, just seem like assumptions to me. Good assumptions sure, but assumptions nonetheless. Am I simply too stupid to understand?

I don't know whether this counts as a double post, but for some reason I find myself unable to edit my previous post, so I apologise if this is considered a breach of DA RULEZ.

Considering that my guilty pleasure Downton Abbey doesn't continue until autumn, I have finally caved and started watching 'Cranford', 'Upstairs, Downstairs' and 'Pride & Prejudice' (I'm a sucker for Mr. Firth)
Yes, I love costume dramas! Yes, I'm a total cliché puff. But I don't care. These shows are pure indulgence!

Vicious season 2 just started yesterday. Average episode, but a nice laugh every once in a while.

Love Wayward Pines. Matt Dylan is still hot, and the nurse is a great bitch!

Residue on Netflix

From what I read this apparently should be seen as a pilot. It is a 3 episode mini-series about an explosion in A future London that is being covered up and paranormal stuff is attached to it.

My boyfriend and I burned through the 3 episodes last night. It was excellent, great at building an eerie mood, cinematography was also really good and really good pacing to keep your strung along to wondering what the hell is going on.

Hopefully this gets a second season and it stays as strong as these first episodes were.
