Been turned down 4 times in less than 2 months... life sucks.

Come on. A friend of mine who hits the clubs got turned down seven times in one night. It happens. Tick them off your list, and move on to the next ones. ..|

You probably picked 4 losers, and it's their loss. Sorry about that. There are plenty of guys out there though, so better luck next time!

(*8*)

That just makes the 5th or 6th who says yes that much more of a gem, now doesn't it?

I just hate it when people tell me I need to move on... I do and then... BAM! It seems "moving on" just screws me over more...

Dude,

You must be turning down other dudes, too.

It's the name of the game. Don't sweat it.

And, yeah, though you really hate it, you'll move on, won't you?

SC

>>>ust hate it when people tell me I need to move on...

Well, you do have a choice.

If you try again, there's at least the chance that something will happen.

If you don't, then there isn't.

So do. If it takes you awhile to get your nerve back up, fine, but get back out there. :)

Lex

you can ask me i wont turn you down ---- I wont be able to do anything about it as i am in the UK & you are in USA, but i will definately not turn you down :¬)

At least at your age, you know what you want, and you, apparently, go after it! ..|

When I was your age, I knew what I wanted, but was afraid to even admit it to Myself! (I was, however, going after what I THOUGHT I was Supposed to! ... Girls!) :D #-o

And when I did manage to "give in" to my Gayness? Well ... most of the time, I was too afraid to even approach the Guys I wanted! ](*,)

What I didn't realize, though, that while I was timid about going after what I wanted, there were also those that were timid about approaching Me!

Yeah! Getting turned down Sucks! But, heh!, at least you have "the balls" for the "Hunt"!! (group):hurray:(!w!)

Good Luck!

And, of course, no matter what ...

Keep smilin'!!(*8*)
Chaz ;)

you also have to remember that a thousand turndowns is nothing to pay for finding that right person!!!!

You shouldn't confuse a turn down with being a personal failure.

Remember that most people have a biological or personality 'type' that they are most attracted to. Just because you may not fit their parameters doesn't necessarily reflect on you.

On the other hand, maybe you are coming across as too aggressive or needy and that's something you can work on.

Many guys on these boards probably wish they met four guys in a month that they found attractive enough to want to connect with.

Maybe you also need to reassess where you are meeting these guys and whether the type you're choosing is really the type you want.

Okay...back in the water.

I don't think you are cursed but blessed. I've waited for close to 30 years before I got Mr. Right. I'm glad I waited.
