That is how I see myself. I have to control that, cause some people find it very offensive, rude and impolite, but that is how I relieve my tension.

It's good that you have a way to relieve tension, though some people might find it offensive. I don't take it that way, but Ii do think it tends to dilute the precision of what you are trying to say.

Cussing indicates the lack of intellegence and the inability to express yourself in your native tongue.

I find that chaotic, obscene, and dead sexy. Cussing is a great way to show that you're comfortable with what you feel and it shows a stronger inflection towards the things you're conversing over. However, cussing AT someone is just simple negative unless it's a sexually aggressive and welcomed gesture often used in the bedroom.

Don't curse at me directly, and I think nothing less of someone who does it.:)

I keep the profanity to a minimum. I can usually express myself clearly without it

I use some in everyday conversation around my friends (like you guys!).

Other than that, just in the car or when I'm alone.

Pretty much the exact same thing I was thinking.

I, as a southern gentleman, NEVER use profanity in public or in the presence of ladies.
And yet you'll show your cock to the whole world on the internet?

I don't trust anyone who doesn't swear. It's fucking obscene to restrain yourself like that.

It's a time and a place to use profanity. I don't swear that much... only when regular words can't express how I might feel.

"shut up" and "shut the fuck up" are totally different. The "fuck" shows severity. It shows that i'm irritated more than just a regular "shut up"

Another example. "fight" and "Ass whoppin". one is more threatning.

Fuck me, it's Mark Twain.

LOL - Good point, sir.

People who don't swear are utter, stupid, fucking cuntrags who DON'T know how to express themselves because they are too fucking worried about what people think about them. Cunts.

I rarely use vulger laguage, for the reasons mentioned here already.

I will tease my partner once in awhile, because he sometimes has a "potty-mouth".

Neither one of us swears in public; along with rude, and ignorant, it can also be embarrassing! !oops!

Last weekend while my friend and I were leaving the casino and we were standing outside talking waiting for the valet to bring my car and this hott guy walked by, let me mention that I was really drunk, and I said out loud "I'd sure like to fuck him!!!" and there was an old lady standing behind me. I felt sooooo bad. She was shaking her head at me. The look of pitty for me on her face made me feel so low class.

If I was there brandon I'd look at her and say,"He'd do that guy, but woman let me tell you. I'd love to get a piece of your ass old lady." Naturally, I'd feel nothing of it as I was just getting your back you know. ;)

LMAO!!! Xavier_Holland, You have to be nice to old people because they are so sweet... and old. I got into a huge heated argument with my great-grandmother about two months ago and I said some awful things (not that she didn't deserve them) and even though I was right, I will never forgive myself for using that kind of language around her. She is really old, 85, and it will probally haunt me for the rest of my life even though were cool now. I swore to her that I would never cuss an old lady out again.

I swear a lot. Not at people - I reserve that for exceptional occasions when someone really has exhausted my patience, or has sworn at me first.

But in general I do tend to pepper my already magnificent English with a few choice off-colour phrases.

It totally depends on the situation. When I'm around my comtemporaries, yes I cuss and don't even notice the extent of how much. I do try to make an effort to "clean up" my vocabulary in a professional situation or in the presence of my elders and certain mixed company settings.
