I'd say give her your number and let her know that she can call you whenever and basically do what your already doing be her rock and tell how much better she deserves ... Maybe suggest she talks to her parents about douche bag staying with them have her tell her parents she isn't comfortable with the idea or something

Luka, that was unnecessarily harsh. There doesn't appear to be much you can do, just keep on reassuring her. This seems like a struggle she is going to have to undertake on her own.

sorry i just dont have any respect or care for people who want to kill themselves

awww... u sound like a great lil mate to her.....

i always say (from experience) that you only need one person to believe in you.. to make a difference etc... not to say anymore than one isn't great tho....
I guess all you can do is to reassure your friend that you are there for her no matter what. You have to trust her that she will make the right choices....

Its always tough being the friend who has to watch someone go thru what she is going thru...

Keep doing what u do.... and im sure your friendship is helping her everyday!!

take it easy mate and keep ya chin up!

You don't have to have respect for my friend. You're exceptionally, breathtakingly insensitive for someone who's posting in the CO&R forum; would you react the same way to someone posting something about wanting to kill himself after a negative reaction from his parents after he came out to them? If so, you should probably reevaluate your thought process on coming into the Coming Out & Relationships subforum. If you don't have any advice for me that's relevant to this thread, feel free to either send me a PM or leave it. Thank you.

I did give my advice, your the one attacking me buddy....thats all

idk...when bringing up her possible relocation to your area, why not spin it in a positive light and not a bad one?

Or maybe for the last week of the ex-boyfriend being at her house why not just invite her up to your place for a week? then she can check out your area and maybe seriously consider a relocation?
