A straight guy found out I'm gay. He became all defensive and warned me never to come on to him, throwing in some homophobic comments. Angry, I snapped back that he's not my type and and I wouldn't come on to him even if someone held a Kalashnikov to my head. And suddenly his facial expression changed completely, he was like "what the hell did you say? Why wouldn't you come on to me?" I was like, wtf? I'm assuring you you're safe from the horrible gay guy and you're offended about it? Isn't that a bit ](*,)?

Honestly, it's a very typical response. It combines two irrational fears- fear of having a guy make a pass at you and fear of not being hot enough for a guy to make a pass at you. :)

The valuable lesson here is to stay the fuck away from this guy. He´s an asshole.

I've often wonder what straight blokes think...
If you say they're safe would they think "thank god" or "what's wrong with me?"
If you say they're hot would they think "shit, hope he doesn't jump on me" or "yeeooo! someone think's I'm hot!"

The wonderful world of homophobia, curiosity, closet cases and ego.

My solution is to laugh at them sarcastically.

Results:
They know that it means "hahahha me ? coming on to you ? hahahha" but you do not have to answer their questions.

A lot of straight guys think about sex with women every couple of minutes....all day..every day. They think with their dick...so they assume gay guys are the same ...and they often are.....

My best friend who is a long haired Japanese guy and pretty much a bad ass and not a drop of gay in him one day when we were walking into a store in Palo Alto saw this kinda macho older gay man with this very submissive Asian gay man walking behind him and taking baby steps and he says to me with a straight face...

If I was gay..that would be me and you :rotflmao::rotflmao::rotflmao: ......

What he forgot to mention was on what planet he was thinking of.....
