Did you see the final last night. Did any of you agree with the final decisiond that Emmitt Smith took first place. In my book, it was Mario all the way. Oh well, maybe it's just because I liked to look at his ass while he was dancing (or anytime it was shown.):cry:
 
Mario was 100% better than Emmitt. That's why these voting shows suck!
 
Mario should have won. However, I'm sure the producers were happy with the outcome because it takes some of the gayness our of dancing when the macho football player wins--thus increasing their potential audience.
 
Emmett is a sweetheart and probably got a lot of votes based on his role as a football player!

I mean, he after all is the all-time leader in total yards as running back in all of NFL.....

Mario and his partner are true dancers in all sense of the art form and totally won the contest; but remember the contest is/was won via the votes over the phone!

I too believe that the show benefitted more from Emmett winning vs Mario and will further the next DWTSs!!

Man, there's NO way I could have gone up there and performed like these people did, do you???(*8*) (*8*) :kiss: :kiss:
 
Thanks guys for you input. I'm glad to see that most of you agree that Mario should have won. As to going up ther to perform, Yes, I think I could.
 
Maybe Mario was *too* good, people like to vote for somebody thet can better identify with?
 
True Mario is the better dancer. But he is also no amateur. Nobody can learn to breakdance like that in less than a week. The dude definately has dance experience from somewhere.
 
If this had been a Broadway audition, Mario would have got the job. This was a case of people voting for the under dog. Emmett's charm, more than his technical skill, managed to get him enough votes. I think the judges know that Mario is a better dancer.

I still have not gotten over Mario's loss. He was truly the best dancer on the show, and by far the most sexual. His final routine, free style, was absolutly incredable.
I am going to miss him on the show, watching him every week was something I looked forward to. Hopefully his apperence on the show will open doors for him to do more movie/TV work.
Move over George Clooney for Mario Lopez the sexiest man alive.
 
Wait... there's a reality show called "Dancing with the stars" which is just a big Dance competition a la American Idol?

Geez, and I thought American culture bottomed out with "When Animals Attack"
 
Mario was the sexiest. Joey was a close second. Great butts in those outfits!

Still, I love Emmitt's charm and the fact he's not an actor or dancer.

Mario was dancing before "Saved by the Bell". I think this will be a good career boost for him, maybe we'll see more of him. See "Nip 'n' Tuck"

Mario, Emmitt and Joey all deserved to win.
