Danny Roddick has passed away

I can't believe this: a young man dies and you guys are quibbling over his age, and then loosing the point of the thread entirely by arguing over the definition of middle age!
 
Cue the violins. Gee, anybody would think that all guys that get into porn are insecure, vulnerable, emotional, innocent, naive, cute as a button, charming and real mommy's boys. I get really annoyed when I read articles like this that puts blame on the porn companies. Yes they put pressure on the performers to perform, yes they can be cruel, yes they can be demanding and yes they can be complete arseholes. Just like any boss in any work place, because porn after all is a business. However, those attributes can equally be said of the performers themselves. Anyway, are people really that stupid and naive that get into porn? Surely they would know that the companies really couldn't give a toss about them as it is a business and as long as they make money who cares, just like any other workplace. Porn performers are not victims, except maybe of their own stupidy and naivety. If they really are desperate then perhaps they should get another job that doesn't push them as hard or make them do more 'extreme' activities. Porn performing is a choice, no one sticks a gun to their head and tells them to suck, fuck and swallow.
 
Terribly sad, whatever the factors involved. He always appeared to be very together and happy on stuff like Tim & Roma, GayVNs, etc, but I suppose appearances don't really count for much.

His Myspace is still up.... though, curiously, his BF Alex Chandler's page has disappeared from Danny's and all the Colt people's profiles. I wonder if his passing was preceded by a breakup or something.
