DantheManFL Appreciation Thread.

Good Wednesday morning Dan! (*8*)

I hope all is well with you on the golf course, and that your homeowner's association is staying off your back. I don't know how it is now, but I heard that. before Covid, there was trouble in golf course communities, since people couldn't sell their houses because the community fees were so high, and people were almost having to give their places away. And some golf course communities were failing.

Wow John, you hit that right one the head. I lived at Rosemont Country club in Orlando before I moved here. The golf couse closed like 10 years ago. Although their HOA fee was low, only $125/yr. No way that could have supported the golf course, I don't know why I live in golf course communities.... I've never played golf. Nice houses for the price though. I'm paying $415/mo now, and it supports golf course, restaurant and bar. Still not as expensive as most condos in this area. I have a home on a lot, and the fee includes mowing, edging, and blowing (not that kind) .:nono: Are you sure you're not a realtor? Prices on everything have been going quite a bit here, as well as the rest of Florida I'm sure.

Good Sunday morning, Dan! (*8*)

No, I'm not a realtor, but I live in the West Palm Beach area, which has buku golf courses, and I've heard friends and others talk about them. I haven't heard much specifically about golf courses since the most recent real estate boom, but I assume golf course property has gone through the roof just like all other real estate. I'm sure that's changed the dynamics completely.

Have a great week!
