I trust you weathered Helene with no real issues, despite that poor cat having to hold on for dear life. It was pretty messy west of you in the Tampa Bay area, though, with storm surge and issues with backed up sewers, etc.
 
Yea, Helene wasn't a big deal for us. Wind and rain, but not too bad.

However, Hurricane Milton will cause lots of headaches for us. I'm sure no electric for awhile. :(

Well, it looks like you're going to get the worst of hurricane Milton. Do what you have to do to stay safe and ride out the storm. Yeah, you probably will lose power for a few days. Everything seems to show the storm will go well north of me, so I probably won't have anything worse than tropical storm conditions here. But I'm worried about my ex and his husband north of Tampa, where it's beginning to look very bad. He says they'll evacuate to a nearby hotel, so they should be safe. But they live in a mobile home, and they're afraid they won't have anything to go back to.
