True story: many years ago I was on the subway with a friend when an odd little man sat across from us and started praying at us. We weren't giving off any gay vibes so maybe he had excellent gaydar or something. Either way, I was offended, so I dared myself to do something:
I let him pray a little longer, then I rolled my eyes back in my head as if in a prayed-at-induced-trance and started kissing my friend. He got the joke immediately and we went at it for a few seconds. The simply guy got up and started praying at someone else. Not the reaction I was looking for, but at least I didn't get stabbed.
