Dark Shadows fans

I just happen to catch a couple of episodes of the daytime soap Dark Shadows, as soon as i heard the theme song all the memories came back. We were not allowed to watch the show cause the sitter thought it was to scary for us. We still watched it through her living room window since she watched it every day. I wish they would bring it back to the SCI FI Channel

I watched every episode when it was on, and then watched them all again on Sci-Fi a few years ago.

Sadly, most of the actors have died.

Jonathan Frid is still alive, David Selby is still alive, there are many others who are still alive. I am buying all of the DVDs from MPI I think it's only going to cost around 650.00 after the bulk purchase discount.

we should talk sometime. I'm a HUGE fan of Dark Shadows, and I've started collecting the episodes on vhs and dvd. It's going to take a while for me to get the entire show...but I've been steadily working on it!

I had actually caught one episode really late the other night on TVLand, So Im wondering if its going to be on there lineup. it wasnt even listed in the guide. I came in lookin for Leave It To Beaver and found Dark Shadows........

This show used to scare the crap out of me when I was a kid! But I loved it! One of my favorite storylines was when someone had a nightmare, they would keep having it until they told someone about it, then that person would have an even more scary nightmare.

I am back in New York now and I must say that not having seen Dark Towers here in America in over twenty years, I must say that I find it difficult to believe that this thread could possibly apply to us. Where is it apparently playing now I wonder??

Dark Shadows had two movies made from the series, one was called Night Of Dark Shadows and had Kate Jackson and David Selby in it. They have never made it to dvd yet. I wish they would

I'd have to say mine was 1970 Parallel Time...
followed closely by 1897...

There was so much going on...

Two storylines come to mind, Im wondering if anyone remebers them. One is where I think Angelique was in bed and her picture next to her started aging.

The other was with two Collingsworth children somehow got trapped inside a victorian dollhouse. These two have always been on my mind

Huge Dark Shadows fan here as well! I'm really enjoying collecting the DVD sets, in particular "The Beginning" as Victoria Winters is my favorite character.
